Halas Hawks U12s Girls continue to press for a place in the finals of the Stourbridge League Cup. They were unlucky to lose 2-0 in their first group game against Tipton East, missing several good chances, but in their second game, against Kewford Eagles, Lilly Crawshaw and Rebekah Trevis-Smith were on target to earn a 2-0 victory.

In the boys mini-soccer league, the U7s East travelled to Forest Falcons coming away with a 5-0 win. Man of the match, Ben Clarke got his hat trick with the others coming from Jordan Staten and Cain Smith.

The U9s North met Trysull East and despite a good performance, went down 4-2. Harry Wootton and Sam Oakley were on target with Alex Sambidge getting man of the match.

The U11s were involved in South Staffs Cup action against Erdington. Hawks missed several early chances and against the run of play Erdington took the lead. Goalkeeper Alex Gregory then kept Hawks in the game with a penalty save before Kieron Mickelduff deservedly scored the equaliser. Further chances fell to the Hawks but they were unable to convert them and it was Erdington who
coped best with the difficult conditions scoring two more goals to win 3-1. Man of the match went to Alex Gregory.
