26th February 2006

Halas Hawks U7s East travelled to Kewford Eagles North where a hat trick from man of the match, Ben Clarke, and one from Cain Smith gave them a 4-1 win.

The U7s West went down 2-0 to Wordsley Wasps whilst the U8s East had a comfortable 5-0 win at Penn Colts, where goals came from Charlie Gregg (3), Danny McGovern and Connor Mills. Man of the match went to Jacob Lane.

The U8s West lost 9-0 to league leaders West Hagley with Deon Patel getting man of the match.

The U9s Dynamos had a close game with Brierley Hill Bullets but two goals from Dan Willetts and an excellent performance from man of the match, Rory Ellis, gave them a 2-1 win.

Two excellent goals from man of the match, Tom Wickstead, set up the U8s East for a 4-0 win over Trysull Tigers. Other goals came from a tap in from Reece Marks after a Wickstead shot that the 'keeper couldn't hold and the other came from a header from Ryan Davies from a brilliant free-kick from Josh Ezewele.

The U10s Harriers lost 1-0 to Quinton Eagles but the U10s Eagles had to work hard to beat Bilbrook 3-1. Halas took a 2 goal lead through Joe Smith and man of the match, Lewis Bradley, but Bilbrook pulled one back to get them back into the game before a late Jake Mace goal settled the game in Halas’ favour.

The U11s fought out a 1-1 draw with Quinton Eagles with Ben Durrell getting the goal and Luke Owen man of the match.
