Hit 56 goals!
In the
Stourbridge Mini-soccer League, Halas Hawks U7s West got their first
win of the season with an excellent all-round performance against Bilbrook to
win 4-0. Matthew Jones got a hat trick with Alex Gardner getting the other.
Man of the match went to Ethan Downes.
The U7s East continued their unbeaten run with a convincing 10-0 win against
Gornal Colts.Goals came from Cain Smith (4), James Williams (3), Josh
Griffiths, Ellis Byrne and Jamie Theodosi.
The U8s East were two goals down to Netherton with ten minutes remaining but a
remarkable comeback saw them take the points with a 5-2 win! New signing, John
Palmer got man of the match for scoring a hat trick and the other two came
from Charlie Gregg.
The U8s West lost 2-0 to kewford South, with stand-in goalkeeper, George
Wakeman getting man of the match.
The U9s East met Warstones with the only goal of the match coming from a long
range free kick from Josh Ezewele. Man of the match went to Raheem Dyer with
an excellent defensive performance.
The
U9s North had an end to end game with Warstones Wanderers West but edged
it 2-1 with goals from Sam Oakley and man of the match, Philip Mylona.
A good all round performance from the U9s Dynamos earned them a 2-1 win
against Wollescote Celtic with Rory Ellis and Jake Walley hitting the
target.Man of the match went to Joe Kelly.
The U10s Eagles met Forest Falcons West totally dominating the game in a 7-1
win. Jack Ilic hit a superb hat trick with the others coming from Jake Mullen,
Tom Smart, Jordan Smart and a thunderbolt from man of the match, Lewis
Bradley.
In the Stourbridge Youth League, the U11s also met Forest Falcons and came
away with a 1-0 victory after a goal from Ryan Skipton. Man of the match went
to Andy Hussey.
In the Stourport Youth League the U12s beat Droitwich 6-0. Jordan Harris and
Spencer Blackham got a brace each and there was one each for Shaun Haywood and
Kelan Hudson. Man of the match went to Joe Follis.
The U14s ran riot against local rivals Coombs Wood with an 11-0 win. There
were hat tricks for Greg Evans and Jordan Lewry, two for Jos Cannon and one
each for Matthew Jackson, Matthew Williams and Steven Price. man of the match
went to Gareth Cwikla.
The U16s had a close game against Aboriginals but a goal from Brett Orange
gave them a 1-0 win.
In the Stourbridge Girl's League, the U12s kicked off their season with two
excellent results, the first a 2-0 win over Kewford Eagles and the second a
2-1 win over Gornal. Stacey Jones, Becky Trevis-Smith and Lilly Crawshaw were the scorers.
