Halas Hawks U12s Girls continued their fight for league honours in the Stourbridge Girls League with a 3-2 win over West Hagley with goals from Shanice Mayers, Lilly Crawshaw and Heather Baldwin. Taking on Longbridge in their second game, they proved to be much stronger than their opponents beating them 6-0. Shanice Mayers was on top form with 4 goals, with Lilly Crawshaw getting the other two.

In the Stourbridge Boys League, the U9s North got the result of the weekend beating a spirited Warstones Wanderers North 10-1, in what wasa tight first half. Wanderers took the lead and looked the more likely team togo onto win. Halas Hawks came back strongly towards the end of the 1st half andled 2-1 going into the break, after Harry Wootton scored a fantastic solo effort, rounding the keeper and walking the ball into the net. In the secondhalf Halas took firm control quickly running up a 4-1 lead. Goal scorers were man of the match Sam Oakley (2), Harry Wootton (2), Ben Jones (3), Philip Mylona (2) and Joe Vaughan.


The U7’s East lost their unbeaten run following a 4-3 defeat at Netherton. Cain Smith got all three goals.


The U7s West lost 5-1 to Trysull with their goal coming from James North. 


The U8s West could only take a point from Warstones after a Harry Allen goal had put them in front. Jack Guest got man of the match.


The U9s Dynamos had an excellent 1-0 win over Penn Colts with man of the match, Jake Wally, getting the goal.


The U9s East beat Wordsley Wasps 2-0 with two second half goals from Tom Wickstead and Reece Marks. Man of the match went to Raheem Dyer with some excellent defensive work.


The U10s Eagles were involved in a top of the table clash with second placed Phoenix, but a 2-1 win now puts them 5 points clear at the top. Joe Smith and Jake Mullen got the goals with Jack Ilic getting man of the match.


The U11s were disappointing in their 2-0 defeat to Warstones. Man of the match went to Luke Owen.


The U14s were inspired by man of the match, Mark Totten, to a 1-0 win over Perrywoods with Greg Evans getting the goal.


The U16s lost 3-1 to Kingswinford with Luke Wooldridge hitting the target.
