There were mixed results for the Halas
teams involved in cup semi finals. The U7s East
lost 4-2 to a strong looking Netherton Colts side with Ben Clark
and Cain Smith hitting the target, but the U8s East found
it a lot easier against Kewford North winning comfortably 8-1.
With the score at only 2-1 at half time, Hawks stepped up the
pace and goals came from man of the match, Coby Charles (4),
Danny McGovern (3) and Connor Mills.
In the league, the U7s West lost 3-0 to Kewford South but
the U9s North ran riot against Penn Rovers with a 12-1
win. Harry Wootton got 6 and the others came from Philip Mylona
(2), Sam Oakley (2), Ben Jennings and Sam Griffiths.
The U10s Eagles were another team to score 12 goals, this
time with a 12-0 win against Kingswinford whilst the U10s
Harriers drew 2-2 against Withymoor East.
The U11s had a close fought game against Stourbridge
Glassboys, but despite
having chances, they lost 1-0 with goalkeeper, Alex Gregory
getting man of the match.
An excellent all round team performance gave the U14s a
7-1 win against
Burlish Red with goals coming from Craig Law (4), James Docker,
Steve Hussey and Greg Evans.
The U14s girls returned to the top
of the league with a 3 - 0 win over Brierley Hill Bullets.
Olivia Emerson, Elizabeth Richards and Catherine Barrett were on
target. |
