Halas Hawks Girls started off the inaugural season of the Stourbridge Girls League with a mixed bag of results in atrocious weather conditions.

The U10s dominated their game against Gornal but couldn't find the net and lost 1-0 after a late Gornal penalty. They made amends with their second game, against Kewford Eagles, running out 3-0 winners with goals from Fallon Williams (2) and Keren Allen.

The U14s met Withymoor West and went one up through Alexia Smith but in the second half Halas lost defender, Vicky Warren, through injury and Withymoor pressure earned them a deserved equaliser to make the final score 1-1.

In the Stourbridge Mini-soccer league, the U7s East trounced local rivals, Hasbury Rangers, 9-0 with James Williams and man of the match, Cain Smith, getting four each with Jordan Staten getting the other.

The U7's West travelled to Wordsley Wasps where a goal from Matthew Jones earned them a share of the spoils in a 1-1 draw. Man of the match again went to goalkeeper, Anthony Cowdell.

The U8s East met a strong Trysull side but rued missed chances and had to settle for a 1-1 draw with their goal coming from man of the match, Coby Charles.

The U8s West had a close fought game with Warstone Wanderers East losing 3-2 to a last minute goal. Halas scorers were Dominic Hipkiss and man of the match, Deon Patel.

The U9s North put on an excellent display against Stourbridge Glassboys, with new signing, Harry Wooton getting a hat trick in a 6-2 win. The other goals came from Sam Griffiths, Sam Holloway and Joe Vaughan. Man of the match went to Sam Oakley.

The U10s Eagles had an end to end game with Forest Falcons East drawing 2-2 with both goals coming from Sam Buckley. Jake Mace earned man of the match.

In the Stourbridge Youth League, the U11s beat Priory Pumas 6-1 with a goal each for Ryan Skipton, Ben Durrell, Kieron Mickelduff, Thomas Stevens, Ben Hughes and man of the match Sam Dickens.

In the Stourport Boys League, the U14s beat Burlish Red 3-2 with goals from Greg Evans, Steve Hussey and Matthew Williams. Man of the match went to Steve Docker.
