Friendlies

Halas Hawks East U7 played Kingsley Olympic and their goals were scored by Jake Burrows, Callum Winwood, Taze McIntosh and Luke Fletcher. Man of the Match - Taze McIntosh.

The U7s West scored through William Massey with Ben Walker getting man of the match.

The U8s East met Penn Colts and scored goals through James Knight, Thomas Cole, Ethan Daley and Connor Chater with the man of the match going to Harry Holden.

Boys League

Halas Hawks East 2 Phoenix Youth 3
A very slow start to the match saw the U9s fall behind to an early goal. An equalizing goal by Jack Plant should have been enough to kick start the Halas lads, but two further goals from Phoenix saw Halas chasing the game. A second goal for Jack Plant pulled the game back to 2-3 but Phoenix were worthy winners.

Bilbrook East 2 Halas Hawks West 3
The U9s West traveled to Bilbrook and took the lead almost from the kick off through Harvey Brookes. Bilbrook equalized but George Priest restored the lead direct from a corner. Bilbrook again equalized but it was a third goal scored by Brookes which gave Halas a 3-2 win. Man of the match went to Altrin Alesiqi.

Hasbury Rangers 0 Halas Hawks East 4
The U10s East travelled to Hasbury Rangers Snipers where they started brightly taking the lead with a long range Louie Jones strike followed by a Charlie Greening penalty before half time. The second half saw a goal from Oliver Miller and a second from Charlie Greening completing a 4 - 0 victory. Man of the match awards went to Tom Baker and Louie Jones.

Gornal Ath 2 Halas Hawks 0
The U11s West started strongly against Gornal Athletic, but could not get the breakthrough they deserved. Gornal took the lead with a breakaway goal and netted a second just before half time. Halas started the second half well and continued to push, creating a number of chances, but again were held out by the woodwork along with some strong defending from Gornal. Man of the match went to Lewis Grinham.

Tipton Town 1 Halas Hawks 8
The U12s had a comfortable 8-1 win over Tipton Town with man of the match, Nick Bennett, getting a hat trick and the others coming from Mohamed Yafai, Joshua Hanson, Mohammed Mohamed and Joshua Horton.

Halas Hawks 1 Old Wulfrunians 5
The U13s slipped to a 5-1 defeat against Old Wulfrunians. The game was an even contest for the first twenty minutes but Old Wulfs raced into a three goal lead before half time. Halas pulled a goal back through Shane Billingham but Old Wulfs showed their quality by scoring two more before the end.

Halas Hawks 1 Black Country Colts 0
The U14s had a close fought match against Black Country Colts but the stalemate was broken when Halas pressed hard in the second half and won a well deserved free kick from outside the box, which Michael Eaton neatly converted for the only goal of the game. Halas man of the match went to Harjeet Andev Singh for a great defensive display

Halas Hawks North 1 Halas Hawks East 2
The U15s East came out on top in the local derby against Halas North. In a game that was played in the right spirit by both sets of players, strikes from Reece Marks and Dan Willetts provided the East with a 2-1 victory. Harry Wooton netted a late reply for North. Both teams deserve credit for such a well committed, yet fair, game of football.

Halas Hawks 7 Kewford Eagles 1
A scrappy first half by both U17s teams saw the first half end with Halas leading 1-0 against Kewford. The Halas lads moved through the gears in the second half and although missing several chances, they finally got the breakthrough they deserved and settled down to easily win 7-1. Goals scorers were Joe Powell (2), Matt Ross, Mitch Webb, Tom Stevens, Kieran Hillsdon and an unfortunate own goal.

Girls League

Halas Hawks 1 Kinver Colts 0
This U13s league game saw Halas continue their recent improvement creating numerous chances against a dogged Kinver team. Although they only converted one of these, a first half strike from Amy Plimmer, Halas always looked in control and were unfortunate not to add to their tally whilst the defence gave their opponents few opportunities. Special mention goes to Amy Sargent who has settled in well since her recent recruitment.

Halas Hawks 2 Bustleholme 4
Despite their eventual 4-2 defeat, the U14 girls spent most of the second half camped in Bustleholme’s goal area. Halas failed to capitalize on numerous chances, including eight corners. New signing, Ellie Lambrou, gave an impressive debut and Amy Blakemore came out of defence to score both goals for Halas.

Netherton Colts 2 Halas Hawks 6
The U16 girls got their Birmingham County Cup campaign off to a great start with this win over Netherton. Halas took control of the match from the first whistle and were rewarded with a goal from Kate Drew. Netherton pulled level but Halas stepped it up after the break and a further hat trick from Drew, plus a brace from Liz McAleenan, saw them progress to the next round. Player of the match was Gemma Stokes who ran the midfield.
