the match.
The U8s West
scored one goal against Kewford through Ethan Daley. Man of the
match went to Michael Waugh.

B’ham Medics 0
For the second week running, Halas Hawks Ladies recorded an 8-0
win, this time against Birmingham Medics in the Birmingham County
Women’s League. The first half was a much closer affair with the
teams separated by only one goal, which came from a 40 yard
trademark shot from Katie Monk. But the second half was a totally
different game with Halas taking advantage of the slope and
scoring three goals in the first four minutes of the half through
Gemma Colledge (2) and Sam Whittaker. Further goals came from
Colledge who got a hat trick, Tash Berry (2) and Lydia Bradley.

Kewford Eagles 2
Halas U13s girls put in their most
clinical performance of the season in this cup game against
Kewford. They led one nil at half time after a cross from
Elizabeth Thomas was turned into her own net by a defender. The
visitors equalised soon after the break but an excellent cross by
Sophie Miller was turned in by Amy Plimmer, who grabbed her second
shortly after. Amy Sargent then scored the team's fourth before
Kewford, who always looked dangerous on the break, pulled one back
through a penalty to make the final score 4-2.

The U15s girls had a hard fought game against Withymoor which was
decided by a single goal by Laura Smith. A great defensive display
saw Halas hold on to the win with some important tackles made by

Phoenix Youth 2
Halas Hawks East 1
The U9s East were gifted an own goal by Phoenix Youth
but they were unable to take advantage and lost 2-1.
Kewford Eagles
South 2 Halas Hawks West 1
The U9s West took the lead against Kewford South
through Jayke Adams, but they struggled to find any rhythm and
Kewford equalized and then found a winner from an excellent free
kick in the dying seconds of the match. Man of the match went to
George priest.
Trysull Tigers 1
Halas Hawks East 2
The
U10s East travelled to Trysull and got another
good win. Halas didn't start well and Trysull took a deserved lead
with a goal from a corner, but Halas got better as the game went
on and Oliver Miller eqaulised before half time from a Trysull
goal kick which he fired back in from long range. Charlie Greening
scored the winner for Halas direct from a free kick. Man of the
match went to Tom Baker and Josh Yorke, who stood in as a
goalkeeper,
Kewford Eagles

The U12s played without their recognized goalkeeper
against Kewford Eagles and lost 4-3 with their goals coming from
Jonty Round, Nick Bennett and Mohammed Mohamed.

Thimblemill Rec Vipers 1
The U14s put in a strong first half performance which
saw them race into a three goal lead with goals from Jack Bagley,
Jack Guest and Liam Holmes. Thimblemill hit back with a goal in
the second half, until Halas imposed their strength with goals
from Adam Higginson and a brace from Michael Moreton, to make it a
6-1 final score. Man of the match was Tom Bagley for a great
midfield performance.
Sedgley
Scorpions 0 Halas 3
The U17s started slowly but defensively strong against
a determined Sedgley side. A super strike from Ben Hughes broke
the deadlock in the first half with both teams only creating half
chances. The second half saw Halas step up a gear and go 2-0 up
through a Jay Harper header. A penalty 10 mins from the end by
Mitch Wells sealed a 3-0 win.

Callowbrook Swifts 1
The U18s took on Callowbrook from the Central Warwick League in
the Sunday Youth Challenge Cup and in a very competitive game
Halas continued their good form and finished 2-1 winners, goals
coming from Ryan Howard and Marc Perry.
