Halas Hawks 6 Ferndale Girls 0
In their first game for two months, the U15s started the game
against Ferndale surprisingly slowly and for the first ten
minutes were second best. But after that they clicked into gear
with some great passing and goals came from Kate Drew (2), Liz
McAleenan (2), Lauren Taylor and a great lobbed goal from
Rhianne Murray. Player of the match was Charlotte Little.

Halas Hawks East 2 Kewford West 1
The U9s East entertained Kewford in a game which started at a
slow pace with neither team creating much. Kewford however were
having most of the possession and against the run of play Halas
took the lead from a Charlie Greening tap in. The second half
started with Halas looking the better side but it was Kewford
who broke away to equalise. With the game seemingly ending in
a one all draw, Oliver Miller smashed the ball past their keeper
into the roof of the net to give Halas a somewhat fortunate win.
Men of the match went to Rickio Fairin-Hall & Charlie Greening

enough to prevent his team losing 3-0.
Rio Saints 2 Halas Dynamos 6
The U12s Dynamos ran out comfortable 6-2 winners against a much
improved Rio Saints team. After falling behind early in the
game, Halas responded well to go into the break 4-1 up thanks to
some excellent finishing from Jack Blunt (2) and Chris Priest
(2). Rio pulled a goal back from the penalty spot but Halas
scored further goals from Dalmar Morrison and Jordan Boffey to
seal the points.
Halas Hawks West 2 Perton 0
The U12s West progressed to the next round of the cup with a
hard fought win over a plucky Perton side. The first half was a
stalemate but the second half saw a different Halas emerge and
they dominated for large parts. They created chances, two of
which were converted by Nathan Postin and Cameron Milne to give
them a 2-0 win. The man of the match award went to Ellis
Meredith.
Halas Hawks 2 Ashmore 2
The U14s East came back from 2-0 down to deservedly draw 2-2 in
an entertaining friendly with Ashmore Park Rangers from the

with some fluid passing football and a draw was a fair result.
Halas goals came from Josh March and Raheem Dyer, both of which
set up by the influential Nathan Collins.
