Friendlies

The U7s East scored goals this weekend through man of the match, Thomas Cole, Harry Holden, James Knight, Tom Powell and Connor Chater.

Girls League

Halas Hawks 1 Gornal 0
Halas Hawks U10s girls inflicted the first defeat of the season against Gornal in a 1-0 win. Halas dominated large parts of the game especially in midfield where Charlotte Faraday and Maddison Eden were outstanding. This led to a barrage of attacks but they had to settle for an only goal from Maddison Eden to give them the points which took them to the top of the table

Gornal Girls 1 Halas Hawks 8
Despite going a goal down, Halas Hawks U12 girls bounced back to score goals through Louise Tromans (3), Lucy Heaselgrave (2), Amy Plimmer, Francesca Hancox and Bethan Bryan to win 8-1.

Withymoor 2 Halas Hawks 4
The U13s met Withymoor and strengthened their bid for the league title with a 4-2 win after goals from Megan Hipkiss and a hat trick from Sophie Blount.

Kidder Lions 4 Halas Hawks 0
The U15s gave themselves a mountain to climb after giving away three soft goals in the first quarter of this match at Kidderminster. But although they went a further goal down early in the second half, they grew in confidence and were unlucky on several occasions not to pull the score back. Kate Drew was player of the match with a very strong performance up front and keeper Livi Woollams made some fantastic saves.

Boys League

Brandhall Colts 2 Halas Hawks 2
Having gone down to an early goal against Brandhall, the U9s North dug deep to equalise with a goal from Jake Crackett. Jack Bingham put Halas ahead before a Brandhall equaliser just after half time. Although there was then end to end play the deadlock wasn't broken and after such hard work a 2-2 draw seemed a fair result.

Kewford East 2 Halas Hawks East 0
The U9 East travelled to league leaders Kewford East and should have gone a goal up but missed a good chance. Kewford then took advantage and score two goals before half time. The second half continued much the same with Kewford having most of the possession but with both teams defending well, there was no further score. Two players stood out for Halas with Tom Baker keeping us in the game at the back and Oliver Miller working tirelessly on his own up front.

Halas Hawks 1 Forest Falcons 1
The U10s West drew 1-1 against Forest Falcons with Callum Hudson getting their goal.

Halas Hawks 3 Gornal 0
The U11s won 3 - 0 against Gornal with all the goals coming in the first half from Jonty Round, Harry Wakeman and Matt Evans.

Halas Hawks 1 Withymoor East 3
A lively match saw Withymoor take the lead against the U13s but Halas kept up the pressure equalising on the stroke of half time after Liam Holmes slammed in a rebound off the bar after a Halas free kick. The second half saw Withymoor take the advantage and then seal the match 3-1 despite Halas playing some great football. Man of the match went to Jack Bagley.

Halas Hawks 4 Enville Athletic 0
The U14s East recorded a comfortable 4-0 victory over Enville Athletic. Hawks' goals arrived from Joe Priest, Kane Campbell, Louis Ezewele and Dan Willetts. Halas are still in second place and only a point from leaders Gornal who they face in their next match in a crucial end of season possible title deciding match.

Halas Hawks 5 Oldswinford 0
The U16s met Oldswinford and both teams had their chances, but it was Halas who took them, winning 5-0 with goals from Kieron McIllduff (2), Alex Chappell, Ben Hughes and Kieran Hilston.

Halas Hawks Ladies

Continental Star 0 Halas Hawks Ladies 3
Halas Hawks Ladies traveled to Continental Star for their final game of the season knowing that a win for either team would probably give them the league runners up spot, but it was Hawks who showed more desire and they thoroughly deserved their 3-0 win with goals from Kirsty Houston, Gemma College and a penalty from Steph Wem.
