Lightwoods 1 Halas Hawks 6
A show of determination saw Halas Hawks U10s girls come from a
goal down to win 6-1 against Lightwoods Lions. Early sustained
pressure saw Halas have a number of first half chances before
Lightwoods took the lead, but Halas replied with three quick
goals followed by a further three in the second half.

Gornal Girls 0
The U12s girls continued their improved form in the league with
this resounding 9-0 win against Gornal. A solid defensive
display formed the foundation with the goals being scored by Amy
Plimmer (5), Louise Tromans, Sophie and Lucy Heaselgrave and
Bethan Bryan.

The U13s girls had another end to end battle against Gornal, who
took the lead on three occasions, only to see Halas draw level,
with the last goal coming only seconds from the final whistle.
Sophie Pritchard scored an excellent individual goal in the 3-3
draw, with the other two coming from Sophie Blount.
Halas Hawks 5 Gornal 4
The U14s girls started slowly against Gornal going down to two
early goals but Danielle Lawrence, scoring the first of her four
goals started a spirited comeback which led to Charis Maguire
scoring the winner in a 5-4 thriller just before the final
whistle.
Boys League
Halas West 1
Halesowen Town 3
A
close contest between the U10s West and Halesowen Town saw the
visitors go ahead with an early goal. Halas then settled down
with some good defending from man of the match, Callum Hudson
and solid midfield work from Jamie Stanton and Lewis Grinham.
Halesowen stretched their lead mid way into the second before a
wonder strike from Matt Cole gave Halas hope only to be hit on
the counter attack by Halesowen for their third.
Halas Hawks East 4 Warstones 1
The U10 East remain top of division one after beating second
placed Warstones 4-1. Halas scored in the first minute through
Jayden Wyman whilst Jordan Ward soon added another as Halas took
control. James Riggit scored either side of half time to wrap
up another impressive victory.
