James Thacker and Ben Pedley. The man of the match was awarded
to Ryan Wood
The U7s West played host to Brandhall, scoring goals through
William Smith, Kyle Winwood and Billy Willmott. Man of the match
went to Sam Dodd for an excellent display in defence.
The U8s East played Halesowen Town White and scored through
Jack Plant, Aston Loynes, Tommy Swancott and Jack Whitehouse.
Girls League
Halas Hawks 10 Kewford 0
An impressive display from Halas Hawks U10s midfield and attack
gave them a 10-0 win against Kewford Eagles. An early goal from
Madison Eden opened the floodgates and further goals came from
Hannah Fellows with a double hat trick, Kirsty Hampton, Kelly
Nicklin and a second from Madison Eden.
Halas Hawks 3 Kewford Eagles 3
The U12s took a two goal half-time lead through Amy Plimmer and
Louise Tromans, but Kewford battled back to draw level before
Bethan Bryan restored Halas' lead. They were unable to add to
this however and Kewford restored parity before the end to level
the score at 3-3.
Boys League
CS Colts 0 Halas Hawks East 1
The U9s East met CS Colts hoping to make it three wins on the
bounce and from the off Halas caused CS problems and should have
built a comfortable early lead. However, they had to rely on the
only goal of the match from Oliver Miller to give them the
points. Man of the match went to Charlie Greening, with his all
action display on the left, and to Josh Smith who, whilst
keeping his first clean sheet of the season, pulled off two
stunning saves during the game.
Halas Hawks 5 Glassboys 0
The U11s met Stourbridge Glassboys eager to seek revenge for a
defeat in the first game of the season. Mohamed Yafai gave Hawks
the lead and this was followed by a hat trick from Matthew Evans
and one from Jonty Round to give Halas a 5-0 win. Goalkeeper,
Shadad Dael saved a penalty early in the game to keep his team
on the right track.
Halas Hawks West 1 Kewford North 6
The U12s went down 6-1 to Kewford North, one of the front
runners in the league. Halas again played well and created a
number of chances but failed to convert. Nathan Postin scored
the goal and man of the match was awarded to Jimmy North.
Halas Dynamos 5 West Hagley South 0
The U12s Dynamos continued their fine run of results with an
excellent victory over West Hagley. Lewis Sidebottom opened the
scoring with a long range strike and then Dalmar Morrison struck
twice to send Halas into the break 3-0 up. James Davis extended
the lead in the second half before Lewis Bryan wrapped up the
scoring with a 35 yard shot which nestled in the corner. Man of
the match was Harry Vine.
Halas Hawks East 4 Enville 1
The U14s remain 4th after beating Enville 4-1. On a tricky
surface, the lads stuck to their passing game and got their
rewards through goals from Kane Campbell (2), Nathan Collins and
Dan Willetts.
