Friendlies
Halas Hawks U7s North had a very close and hard fought game. Goals were scored by James Thacker and Ryan
Wood, James was awarded man of the match. An excellent
performance by all the players, the coach and manager are very
proud of the effort by the lads.

West scored goals through William Smith, Billy Willmott and
Shakiel Powell.
Boys
League
Glassboys 0 Halas Hawks West 3
Halas Hawks U9s West kept their promotion push going by winning
a very close encounter against the Glassboys. A first half
strike from Harry Willams gave Halas the lead and a great
penalty save from inform Matthew Smith helped Halas to retain
the lead at the break. Halas had to soak up pressure in the
second half but two great strikes from Joshua Wyman and a man of
the match display from Bradley Willmott gave Hawks a well earned
3-0 victory.

Hawks East 3 Stourbridge 1
The U9s East entertained Stourbridge FC Jnr's with Halas looking
to make it four wins on the trot. Stourbridge hit the bar early
on but Halas took the lead from an own goal after a Charlie
Greening corner before Stourbridge came back to equalise. Halas
were looking the stronger team and took the lead again from a
great long range Louie Jones strike and then Joshua Yorke
finished the game off with a tap in at the far post from another
Greening corner. The Man of the match Trophy was awarded jointly
to Tom Baker and Louie Jones.

East 6 Netherton East 1
The U10s East retained their table topping league position after
a 6-1 win over Netherton Colts East. Jordan Berry scored early
on with a right foot strike from the edge of the area and James
Riggy slotted home number two and Jordan Berry made it 3-0 at
half time. Halas continued their dominance in the second half
when Joshua Parsons scored with a thunderous right foot shot
into the bottom corner. Netherton pulled a goal back before
Matthew Cole scored his first goal for the club with a shot from
distance. Jordan Ward wrapped up the scoring after being sent
free down the right and cutting in to fire home with his right
foot.

Hawks 7 Newbridge 1
The U11s had a comfortable 7-1 win over Newbridge with goals
from Jonty Round (2), Mohamed Mohamed (2), Joe Wythes, Matt
Evans and Mohamed Yafai.
Trysull
Tigers East 3 Halas West 4
The U12s West started 2011 with a bang recording their first win
of the season. In an even and hard fought game Halas were
unlucky to go in at half time one nil down, but they drew level
just after half time before going 3-1 behind. Halas then staged
a remarkable comeback to record a deserved 4-3 victory with a
Dylan Kealing hat trick and a screamer from Ellis Meredith which
saw Halas home. Man of the match was awarded to Jamie Godfrey
Pheonix
Youth 5 Halas Hawks 1
Despite having the best of the play in the first half, the U13s
found themselves two down at half time. Pheonix made it 4-0
giving the lads a mountain to climb. Michael Eaton scored a
great goal to bring Halas back into it, but Pheonix scored again
to win the match 5-1. Halas man of the match went to Michael
Eaton
Warley
Borough 3 Halas Hawks 4
The U14s
East were still eating their Christmas pudding when they found
themselves 3-0 down to Warley Borough. After some stern words at
half time the lads got a better grip of the game in the second
half and goals from Dan Willetts, Josh March, Nathan Collins and
an outstanding solo goal from Louis Ezewele secured a 4-3 win. |
