Ladies
Halas Ladies 1 Stourbridge Ladies 1
Halas Hawks Ladies became the first team to take points away
from league leaders, Stourbridge Ladies.
The first half saw chances go begging for both teams, but
Stourbridge were the better side at that stage and took the lead
with a goal just before half time. The second half saw the
tables turned and it was Halas who started the game with a
blistering display and deservedly scored an equaliser through
Becky Allsopp, the first goal of the season conceded by
Stourbridge in open play.
Halas continued to create chances, however it was Stourbridge
who could have restored their lead late in the game, but Halas
keeper, Gemma Scriven, pulled off a brilliant one handed save to
keep the final score at 1-1.
Girls League
Gornal 1 Halas Hawks 1
The much awaited top of the table clash between Halas Hawks U10s
and Gornal Girls lived up to everyone's expectations. A closely
fought battle ending in a 1-1 draw and was the most competitive
game of the season so far. Gornal Girls took the lead after 3
minutes but Hannah Fellows up front showed pace when she popped
up in the middle of the penalty area to latch on to a stray ball
and score Halas' equaliser.
Withymoor 1 Halas Hawks 4
The U13s returned to winning ways when they beat Withymoor by
4-1. An outstanding goal from Sophie Blount opened the scoring
and a goal from Sophie Pritchard came as no surprise. Chelsea
Dudson and a goal from Mia Bell completed the scoring.
Boys League
Halesowen Harriers 1 Halas West 4
The U9s West made a strong start against Halesowen Harriers,
taking an early lead through Harry Williams. Halas continued to
dominate and scored a second with a strike from Daniel Giles.

Halas went on to secure the three points and remain in the
runners up spot in the table.
Brierley Hill 1 Halas Hawks East 4
The U9s East travelled to Brierley Hill Bullets West hoping to
carry on from last week when they secured their first win of the
season. Halas started well having all the pressure in the first
10mins and took the lead with a Brierley Hill own goal.
The pressure continued and Halas scored two more through Rickio
Fairin-Hall and Oliver Miller. Just before half time a mix up in
defence led to Brierley Hill pulling one back, but in the second
half Oliver Miller scored his second in a 4-1 win. Man of the match
went to Louie Jones & Joshua Yorke.
Pensnett Panthers 0 Halas East 2
A good away win for the U10s East against difficult opposition
in Pensnett Panthers. Halas produced a fine passing
display and took the lead midway through the first half after a
good move was finished off by Jordan Berry. Halas scored their
second when James Riggy headed home a cross after the best move
of the game. There were no further goals thanks to some good
saves by both keepers.
Halas Hawks West 4 Straits Cobras 0
The U12s West progressed to round three of the league cup with a
4-0 win over Straits Cobras and in the process recorded their
first win of the season. Halas went in at half time with a three
goal lead thanks to Nathan Postin, Cameron Milne and Ellis
Meredith. Jamie Theodosi added a fourth in the second half to
seal a much needed win. Man of the match was awarded to Matt
Jones
Halas Hawks 2 Warley Albion 0

Jonty Round and Joshua Horton.
Kewford North 1 Halas Dynamos 2
The U12s Dynamos had an unbelievably hard draw in the second
round of the league cup taking on defending champions Kewford,
who held a one goal lead at the interval. Halas stepped up their
game in the second half and penned their opponents back for very
long periods and despite missing a penalty kept driving
forwards. They then won another penalty which Connor Smith
despatched well into the corner. With only minutes left on the
clock Jake Saxton stood over a free-kick and rocketed his effort
into the top corner to leave the keeper no chance and earn his
team a 2-1 win. Man of the match was Chris Priest.
Halas Hawks 9 Halesowen Town Colts 2
The U13s eased through to the next round of the cup and went in
at half time 3 - 2 up with goals from Dom Hipkiss, Jack Guest
