travelled to Halesowen Town Colts and after a sloppy first
10 minutes which the team had the defending of Tom Baker to
thank for keeping the scores level the team took control of
the game and went in at half time 2 - 0 up thanks to 2 goals
from Morgan Rogers 1 of which was a great long range strike.
Halas
started the second half much better and scored a further 4
goals through Joshua Willetts, Charlie Greening and another
2 from Morgan Rogers. Man of the Match went to Tom Baker with an all
round great performance.

Wyrley 0 Halas U11s
West 18
Halas Hawks U11s West eased through to the next round of the
South Staffs Cup in overwhelming fashion against Wyrley Juniors.
Halas dominated from start to finish and fully deserved their
18-0 victory. Halas' goals were scored by Cameron Milne 4, Alex
Goode 4, Matt Jones 3, Ellis Meradith 2, Aaron Leddington 2 and
one each for Jack Evans, Nathan Foley and Jamie Theodosi.
Hasbury 3

A goal from
Adam Baker saw the U12s go one up against Hasbury, but they
didn’t make the most of this advantage, going down 3-2. Baker
scored Halas’ second goal and man of the match went to Mike
Lean.

The U13s East went
down 5-3 in the South Staffs Cup to Norton Canes. A spirited
second half comeback saw goals arrive from Josh Ezewele and Kane
Campbell (2).

Coseley 0
The U14s bounced
back from defeat with an outstanding performance from all team
members resulting in a deserved 3-0 victory against a strong
Coseley side. A superb hat trick from Luke Patton and a
memorable performance from Rhys Edwards earned him man of the
match.

The U15s had a comfortable 6-2 win over Malvern with a brace of
goals each for Adam Hodges, Guy Millward and Kieron Mickelduff.

Withymoor 2
This pulsating under
11s cup game against Withymoor saw Halas dominate the first half
with goals from Bethan Bryan and Sophie Heaselgrave giving them
a two goal half time lead. The second half was a much tighter
affair with Withymoor scoring two of their own and although
Halas still continued to create the better chances, they were
unable to add to their score.

Abbey Willingale opened up the scoring for the U13s against
Gornal by lobbing the keeper from outside the box. This was
quickly followed up by a second goal scored by Elisha Rose, and
then an amazing debut goal by Charlotte Little gave Halas a 3-0
half time lead. The second half saw a spirited fight back from
Gornal who made the final score 3-2.

Crusaders 3
Crusaders opened the scoring in this tight encounter in the
Birmingham Women’s League, before Halas hit back, and then took
the lead, through Jenny Watkins and Katie Monk. Crusaders
managed to equalise just before the break to make it all square
at half time. Despite pinning Crusaders in their own half for
the opening 10 minutes of the second half, Halas were unable to
retake the lead. New goalkeeper, Gemma Scriven, saved a penalty
before Crusaders went on to take all three points with a late
winner. |
