Girls League

Withymoor Colts 1 Halas Hawks 1
The spoils were shared in this U11s league cup game against Withymoor. Halas created the better chances in the first half only to find themselves one down at half-time. Lucy Heaselgrave equalised early in the second half, but despite creating numerous further openings, Halas just couldn't find a winner.

Halas Hawks 5  Worcester City 2
The girls got back into winning ways with this fantastic victory over Worcester . First off the mark was Katie Hickman who ran down the left wing , cut in , then slotted the ball passed the keeper with a whoop of delight for her first goal of the season . Next on the score sheet was Megan Ingram who ran onto a through ball and calmly put it away . Worcester then rallied and got one back but further goals from Rhianne Murray (2) and Lauren Taylor in the second half ensured victory . A great achievement with no subs due to illness . Player of the match was keeper Kate Duffy .

Withymoor 4 Halas Hawks 1
Despite the U16s taking the lead through Rebekah Trevis-Smith, Withymoor made it all square at half time. Halas then failed to make the most of their chances and were punished with three well taken goals from Withymoor to make the final score 4-1.

Boys League

Halas 2 SW Lions 4
The U10s West got off to a slow start against Sedgley and from a corner, they conceded an own goal. Halas got the equalizer with a great left foot shot from Shannon Stamps, but Sedgley scored two more in the second half before Shannon Stamps pulled back another to keep Halas in the running. Man of the match, goalkeeper Joseph Wythes pulled off some excellent saves but it was Sedgley who made certain of the points with a fourth goal.

Trysull 4 Halas Dynamos 6
The U11s Dynamos took part in what has to go down as one of the best games ever in a truly great advert for youth football in this clash with Trysull. Halas were quickly out the blocks and dominated the midfield with some splendid play in a one sided first half to go in at the interval 3-0 up. Trysull were dangerous with the long ball over the top which led to three goals in four minutes to reduce the arrears. Halas composed themselves and the football flowed again with three more cracking team goals. Trysull managed to score a late consolation in a 6-4 win for Halas. Goalscorers were Dalmar Morrison (2), Jordan Boffey (2), Alex Gardener and man of the match, Jack Blunt.
