Halas U8s East travelled to
Kewford South and produced another good solid team
performance. Goals came from Morgan Rogers, Joshua Willetts,
Charlie Greening and also Tom Baker getting his first of the
season. Man of the match went to Louie Jones with yet another
great defensive display.
Girls League
Halas Hawks 2 Gornal Girls 0
The U10s girls recorded their first win of the season with a
well deserved 2 – 0 victory over Gornal, in the League Cup.
Brodie Rumsey and Rebecca McAleenan scored the goals.

9 Santiago Colts 0
Halas Hawks U11s kept the valiant Santiago Colts keeper busy
from the first minute to the last. Goals were scored in a 9-0
win ,by Bethan Bryan (3), Chloe Gregg (2), Amy Plimmer, Abigail
Gennard, Louise Tromans and Francesca Hancox with the woodwork
also being hit on four occasions.

Longbridge 3
The U16s took an early two goal lead against Longbridge. The
visitors fought back to make a game of it before Halas clinched
the win with goals from Shanice Mayers (2), Laura Tomlinson,
Pascal Windross and Sophie Leak.

Warstone Wanderers
2, Halas Hawks East 1
A strong start saw Halas U10s East go one up through an
excellent goal by Lewis Wilkin-Williams. Their strong play
continued with a host of chances being created but unfortunately
none taken. This was to prove costly as Warstone capitalised and
scored two goals, winning the game 2-1. Man of the Match went to
Lewis Wilkin-Williams.

Halas Dynamos 3
The U11s Dynamos secured their third win on the bounce with a
hard earned victory away at Bearwood. Halas took a 2 goal lead
but Bearwood fought back to go in level at the break. A much
improved performance in the second half saw Halas create a
number of chances, before a magnificent long range free-kick,
from Jake Saxton, secured the win. Man of the Match went to
Thomas Widnall.

Halas U10s West started the game strongly, creating plenty of
chances, before Mohamed Yafai eventually opened the scoring. Any
pressure from Bearwood was easily dealt with by Man of the Match
Dominic Lomas. Halas continued to apply pressure but could not
add to the score before half time. The second half started much
the same with more chances being created. A great through ball
from Yafai put Shannon Stamps through on goal to extend the
lead. Bearwood scored a free kick with 10 minutes to go but
Halas battled on, deserving all 3 points.

Lions 3 Halas Hawks West 3
A Cameron Milne hat trick helped Halas U11s West earn a well
deserved point .Both teams
battled in the strong wind, with Halas also playing some slick
passing football. Halas had the upper hand for long spells but
couldn’t gain that elusive first league win of the season.

The away match against Duncan Edwards proved a close tie, with
Halas U14s having the better and more regular opportunities. A
fine hat trick from Luke Patton, and outstanding goals from
Dominic Potter, Danny Hodges and Dan Round gave Halas Hawks a
deserved 6 to 3 win. Man of the Match went to Mike Roche.

Kidderminster Lions 2
The U15s came out on top in this close fought, exciting game.
Kieran Mickelduff hit a brace before Sam Dickens added the
third.

Phoenix West 0
The U16s got back to winning ways with a well deserved 2-0
victory over Phoenix West. Despite having to play two thirds of
the game with only 10 players, Halas performed as a team unit
with Edward Leeson and debut player Alex Beard producing
outstanding displays. Alex Beard and an own goal gave Halas the
victory. Edward Leeson was awarded Man of the Match. |
