Friendlies
Halas Hawks U7s
West played at home against Gornal Athletic and scored two goals
through Harvey Brookes and Anthony Andreou.
The U8s East suffered their second defeat of the season
following a very good all round performance from a Warstone
Wanderers Lions side who passed the ball better than any
team we have played over the last 2 seasons.
Halas however did score 4 goals from Joshua Willetts 1,
Charlie Greening 1 and 2 fine chips from Morgan Rogers -
Man of the Match for the second week running went to Thomas Baker
with again another strong performance from defence.
Girls League
Kewford 3 Halas
Hawks 2

game. Their goals came from Amy Webb and player of the match,
Billy-Jo Handy.
Kewford 0 Halas
Hawks 4
This U11s Merit Shield match saw Halas dominate for long periods
against Kewford, although they only had a goal from Lucy
Heaselgrave to show for their efforts. Further goals from Lucy
(2) and Sophie Heaselgrave ensured a 4-0 win.
Halas Hawks 8 Withymoor 0
The U12s opened the scoring in the 18th minute against Withymoor
and followed up with a second soon after, taking the two goal
advantaqe into half time. A further six goals in the second half
sealed Withymoors fate. There were hat tricks for Amy Blakemore
and Sophie Blount and two for Chelsea Dudson.
Halas Hawks 1
Wordsley Wasps 1
The U14s were up against a Wordsley side that in the first half
wanted the game more and went in a well deserved goal up at half
time. Halas began the second half the way they had finished the
first, but rallied after five minutes and were well worth the
equalizer scored by Chloe Biddlestone, and in the end were
unlucky not to win. Player of the match was Olivia Woollams.
Halas Hawks 6
Tipton 0
A goal from Tash Berry and two from Rebekah Trevis-Smith (Tash
and Becks!!) opened the scoring for the U16s against Tipton.
Numerous chances followed and other goals came from Shanice
Mayers (2) and Laura Tomlinson in a 6-0 win.
Boys League
Halas Hawks West 5 FC Perton 0
The U9s West put on a their best performance of the
season against FC Perton, dominating from the start. Joshua
Sharp opened the scoring and then adding another before Josh
Parsons made it 4-0 at half time. Some fine saves and defensive
play by Perton meant that Halas only added one more goal scored
by Joshua Beasley to make the final score 5-0.
Halas Hawks 2 Legion Lions 3
The U10s West were put under early pressure by Legion Lions, who
eventually took a two goal lead. Halas then found a burst of
energy and Harry Wakeman finished well before Legion scored
their third. But Halas kept going and a goal from player of the
match, Shannon Stamps, from a good move with Joel Wyer, put
Halas back in the game, but they couldn't get the equaliser.
Halas Dynamos 8 Kewford 0
The U11s Dynamos hit top form against Kewford and produced the
free-flowing football seen so often from them to advance into
the 2nd round of the league cup. The goals were scored by Reece
Colley (2), Jake Saxton (2), Josh Wheeler, Connor Smith, and two
goals from man of the match Jack Blunt.
Halas
Hawks 2 Trysull 4
The U12s came back from two goals down against Trysull to level
with goals from Adam Baker and man of the match, Kane
Griffiths-York, but despite hitting the woodwork on several
occasions Trysull struck again to make the final score 4-2.
Thimblemill 1
Halas Hawks 5
The U13s East returned to winning ways with a 5-1 victory
against Thimblemill Vipers. Goals arrived from the outstanding
Kane Campbell (2), Jon Rizzo, Macaulay Totney and an own goal.
Ryan Taylor made a terrific save from a penalty early on to keep
Hawks ahead.
Droitwich
3 Halas Hawks 3
The U14s were involved in an excellent 3-3 draw against
Droitwich Tigers with goals coming from Adam Hodges (2) and Guy
Millward.
Halas Hawks 1
Blackheath 3
A truly excellent game of football was played out between the
U16s and Blackheath Town.
Blackheath set the pace of the game with brisk passing which led
to thewir opening goal gifted to them by some sloppy Halas
defending. The second half continued in the same vein withLuke
Sadler making a brilliant save from a penalty. Direct from his
throw out, Halas scored an equaliser through Ant Keeley.
Unfortunately, Halas conceded two further goals in a 3-1 defeat.
Congratulations should go to both teams for making this the best
display of football seen this season. |
