Wombourne Olympic 4
Halas Hawks 5
The U15s had
reason to celebrate with man of the match, Amin Ali, scoring their
hundredth goal of the season in a 5-4 win at Wombourne. In very
windy conditions, Halas came from two down to dominate the second
half. Assists from in form Alex Dudley proved the difference
between the two teams and led to Ali scoring three more. Hawks
fifth goal came from Edward Leeson. Amin Ali has now scored 30
goals this season.
Burlish 5 Halas

The U14s were two
down at Burlish at half time, but came back strongly in the second
half to win 5-2 with goals from Guy Millward (2), Scott Pope, Sam
Dickens and Jack Hudson
Halas Hawks 4
Gornal 1
An excellent
performance by the U12s East saw them comfortably beat Gornal
Athletic 4-1. Goals came from Josh March (2), Jon Rizzo and Josh
Ezewele. The lads were solid all over the pitch and were well
worth the victory. Man of the match went to Reis Potter who was
strong in defence and always willing to offer support on the
attack.
Halas Hawks 2 Old
Wulfrunians 0
The U11s are lying
second in their league and entertained first placed Old
Wulfrunians in a crucial match which Halas won 2-0, with goals
from Connor Leak and Jack Guest. They bossed the game throughout
inspired by a tremendous performance from Deon Patel.
Duncan Edwards 0
Halas 7
A positive start from the U9s West against Duncan Edwards saw
plenty of chances made and goals from man of the match, Joseph
Wythes, and Shannon Stamps. Halas continued to press forward and
saw further goals from Joseph Wythes and Shannon Stamps, who got
her hat trick. Also on the score sheet was Harry Wakeman and Joel
Wyer.

League
Gornal North 0
Halas Hawks West 2
A superb
performance from U10s West girls in this league cup game against
Gornal North with a brilliant debut performance from Eleanor
Macfarlane and Charlotte Davies, resulting in a goal each. There
was some brilliant midfield action and some first class saves
again from Laura Cartwright. A well deserved 2-0 win for Halas.
Kewford 1 Halas
Hawks East 2
Despite having
most of the chances in this entertaining U10s League Cup match,
Halas went into half time scoreless with their Kewford opponents.
A goal by Francesca Hancox finally broke the deadlock, only for
Kewford to equalise and set up a frantic last quarter of the game,
before Amy Plimmer settled the tie.
Halas Hawks 8 Withymoor
1
Another strong performance from the U11s who opened the scoring
against Withymoor in the second minute. By half time the scoreline
was 5-1. A Withymoor injury saw each side temporarily drop to 6
players but Halas contined their march with another three goals.
Scorers were Jessica O'Sullivan (4), Amy Blakemore (3) and Chelsea
Dudson.
Halas Hawks East 6
Pensnett 0
Halas ran out 6 - 0 winners against Pensnett, maintaining their
unbeaten season. Olivia Emerson, Elizabeth Cullwick (2) and
Rebekah Trevis-Smith gave Halas a 4 - 0 half time lead. Emerson
and Trevis-Smith both added a second goal each to make the final
score 6 - 0.
Friendly
Halas Hawks U7's
East put in a good performance and scored two goals against a very
good Kewford Eagles East side. Goals came from Morgan Rodgers and
Charlie Greening. Man of the match went to Louie Jones who
again impressed in defence.
