U7s and U8s Friendlies

Lightwood Lions 3  Halas Hawks West 3
A great performance from goalie Josh Williams kept the U7's West in the game early on with a string of fine saves. Then three goals in quick succession from George silk (1) and William Rowley (2) gave Halas a commanding first half lead.
Although showing plenty of commitment and hard work, the second half proved difficult with Lightwood clawing three goals back to earn themselves a draw.

MNG MIlanco 0 Halas Hawks 16
The U7s East travelled to MNG Milanco who, despite being well beaten by Halas, never gave up. The Halas goals came from Taylor Nolan with a double hat trick, with further hat tricks from Charlie Greening, Nathan Read and Morgan Rogers, with Josh York also weighing in with one.

Halas Hawks West 3 Netherton Colts 3
A close game between the U8s West and Netherton, with both teams defending well and playing some good football. Halas should have taken an early lead but for some excellent goalkeeping. Nevertheless, Netherton opened the scoring midway through the half, but Halas came back strongly with a goal from Josh Parsons, to finish the half 1-1.
Halas took control of the game in the second half and with some excellent defending from Adam Banks and two early goals from Josh Parsons and Josh Beasley, Halas went 3-1 up. However, whilst pushing to put the game beyond reach Halas left themselves open at the back, giving Netherton the opportunity to score two quick goals finishing the game 3-3. Man of the Match - Adam Banks.

West Hagley 5 Halas Hawks 7
The U8s East were involved in a high scoring game at West Hagley coming out on top with a 7-5 win. Coby Beech got a hat trick with the others coming from Jordan Ward (2) and Tom Wiley (2). Man of the match went to Callum Foley.

Boys League

Halas Hawks 2 Kewford 4
Halas Hawks U9s West went down 4-2 to Kewford Central, with man of the match Joe Wythes getting both of their goals.

Halas Dynamos 10  Penn Colts 1
The U1O Dynamos put in another tremendous performance against Penn Colts North with only the excellent Penn goalkeeper keeping the score down. However, Halas still went on to win 10-1, with hat tricks from Jake Saxton and Connor Smith, two from Thomas Widnall and one each for Jimmy Williams and Lewis Sidebottom. Man of the match went to Connor Smith.

Forest Falcons 2 Halas Hawks 5
The U10s West won their first game of the season with a much deserved 5-2 victory over Forest Falcons East. Some excellent passing and finishing saw Halas lead 4-2 at half time before adding another early in the second half. Goals came from Cameron Milne who got four and Nathen Postin. Man of the match went to Jack Willetts.

 Kingswinford 3 Halas North 4
Some fine football in the first 15 minutes gave the U12s North a well deserved 2-0 lead against Kingswinford, who fought back to even things up at 2-2. But late in the game with the score at 3-3, Halas dug deep to get the winning goal. Goal scorers were Christian Herbert (2), Chris Postin and Calum Pearson. Man of the match went to Joe Brass.

Halas Hawks 4 Sedgley Scorpions 2

 Girls league

Halas Hawks West 4 Gornal North 2
The U10s West met Gornal North and a hat trick for Katie Hope set them up for a 4-2 win, which was their first victory since their formation. Their fourth goal was an own goal. Both teams put in a great all round performance with Halas being made to fight hard for their win.

 Halas Hawks 1 Kewford 1
The U10s East took on Kewford with both teams missing chances in a goalless first half, but within five minutes of the second period, Francesca Hancox scored her first goal for the club. Halas pressed hard for the second but some inspired goalkeeping kept Kewford in the game. Kewford then went on to score an equaliser to make the final score 1-1.

Halas Hawks 4  Gornal 1
The U11s provided a convincing 4-1 win over Gornal Girls with Sophie Blount opening the scoring in the first minute. One each from Louise Edgerton & Amy Blakemore followed, but Gornal pulled one back just before half time. A second half Halas goal by Chelsea Dudson completed the scoring.

Gornal 7 Halas Hawks 3
The U12s battled against tough opposition, especially as they were a player short. Elisha Rose scored a brilliant goal in the first half followed up by two goals from Beth Sharkey. The second half saw Halas playing well as a team using lots of skill but went down 7-3.

Wordsley Wasps 1  Halas Hawks 6
In a game that saw Wordsley put in a much improved performance against Halas U13s, the teams were level at half time with chances at either end. It took a strike by Lauren Taylor to start the scoring just after the restart. This opened the floodgates with Wordsley levelling almost immediately only for player of the match Megan Ingram to restore the lead just as quickly. Further goals from Lauren Taylor & Rhianne Murray (3) completed the 6-1 scoreline.

Halas East 4 Halas West 2
An exciting match was expected when the U16s East and West met and the girls didn’t disappoint. The West team took an early lead with another long range shot from Shanice Mayers, but this seemed to spur on the East team, who then raced to a 3-1 lead, with a well taken hat trick from Jenny Watkins. Shanice pegged the lead back to 3-2 with another fine goal, but Jenny made the points safe with another excellent goal to make the final score 4-2.
