Girls League
Halas Hawks 1 Tipton 2
After a goalless first half, the under strength Halas Hawks U11s
opened the scoring with a superb goal by Chloe Gorton. However
Tipton were able to equalise and then pull ahead before the final
whistle to make the final score 2-1
Angels 2
Halas Hawks 5
It was a very exciting match between the U13s and Angels which
saw Katie Hickman, player of the match, Olivia Woollams and
Rhianne Murray give Halas a three goal lead only for Angels to
pull two back before the break. Immediately after the restart,
Rhianne Murray scored her second and Liz McAleenan secured all
three points in the last few minutes .
Withymoor 2
Halas Hawks 3
Despite missing key players, the U16's West put in an outstanding
team effort to secure a well-deserved 3-2 win against Withymoor.
There were excellent performances from the defence, especially
full-back Sophie Round and goal keeper, Sophie Round! ( NB there
are 2 Sophie Rounds) On target were Katie Wilkes, Beth Hall and
Tash Berry, after a tremendous solo run.
Bentley 0
Halas Hawks 5
The U16s East were always on top in their game at Bentley coming
away with a 5-0 win, with goals from Catherine Barrett (2), Jenny
Watkins (2) and Kirsty Houston.

3 Penn Colts 4
The U9s West got off to a good start against Penn with a well
taken goal from Shannon Stamps. Further goals came from Harry
Wakeman and Joe Wythes but Penn hit back to win 4-3. Man of the
match went to Ben Jevons.
Withymoor 1
Halas Hawks 0
The U 12's East were very
unlucky to come away with nothing from their game with Withymoor
Colts East. The lads deserved at least a point but didn't take
their chances in front of goal. Man of the match went to Ryan
Taylor who was excellent in goal, making some top class saves and
organising his defence well.
