Halas Hawks 1
Withymoor 1
Withymoor started strongly against Halas Hawks U9s West scoring an
early goal and continuing to press forward, but Halas held out and
the second half saw them get back into the game when a brilliant
flick on from Shannon Stamps saw Ben Jevons score the equalizer in
a 1-1 draw. The whole team worked hard in a very physical game and
all deserved man of the match.
Halas Hawks 10s
West 0 Kewford Eagles North 6
The U10s West lost to a very good Kewford side who raced into a
four goal lead at half time ,with some excellent finishing. An
improved second half by Halas was not enough to get anything out
of the game with Kewford adding two more. Man of the match went to
James North
Rowley Rhinos 0
Halas Dynamos 6
The U10s Dynamos climbed to the top of the table with a
comfortable 6-0 victory over Rowley Rhinos. The scorers were Reece
Colley, Jake Saxton, Thomas Widnall and a superb hat trick from
man of the match, Josh Wheeler.
Kewford 1 Halas
Hawks 2
The U11s traveled to Kewford where they had to dig deep for a 2-1
win, with goals from Connor Leak and Jack Guest. Kewford almost
equalized but for a goal line clearance from Daniel Jennings. Man
of the match went to Sam Jones.
MNG Milanco 3
Halas Hawks 6
The U15s found themselves two goals down after only 15 minutes of
play in very windy conditions, but by half time goals from Amin
Ali and a header from Josh Spencer had put them deservedly level.
Straight after half time, Halas showed promotion rivals MNG
Milanco why they are proving a real force at the top of the
division. Three further goals from Amin Ali and one from man of
the match, Naiem Yafai, gave Halas a 6-3 win.

League
Gornal North 1 Halas
Hawks East 3
A lack lustre first half against a strong and well-organised
Gornal side saw the U10s East go into the break a goal down.
Inspired by the excellent Amy Plimmer however, the second half saw
them score three goals, two by Shannon Stamps and one by Francesca
Hancox to take the points with a 3-1 win
Withymoor 1 Halas
Hawks 8
A fantastic showing from the U11s with a convincing 8-1 win over
Withymoor. Goals came from Amy Blakemore (5), Georgia Hanson,
Jessica O’Sullivan and a stunning shot from the half way line from
Sophie Blount.
Ferndale
3 Halas Hawks 3
The U12s gave a much improved performance in a very competitive
match which saw a goal from Danielle Lawrence and two from Elisha
Rose, but a late equalizer saw Ferndale snatch a 3-3 draw.
Angels
0 Halas Hawks 7.
Another outstanding performance and a great show of team spirit
saw the U13s take all three points in this merit shield game, with
a hat trick from Megan Ingram and further goals from Bethany
Ingram (2), Sophie Kinsey and Katie Hickman. Player of the match
was Rebecca Ingram with a solid game at the back.
Gornal 0 Halas
Hawks 7
The U16 West team
changed their line-up in order to accommodate an under-strength
Gornal side but the opposition, despite putting up a spirited
fight, were never any match for the strength of the Halas girls,
who went on to win 7-0. Shanice Mayers was credited with two
goals from corners. Other goal scorers were Katie Wilkes (2), Jade
Blount (2) and Sophie Leak. |
