In a thrilling U13s
Girls Cup Final, that was a credit to girls football, Halas
dominated for long periods but Wordsley were always a danger on
the counter attack. The cup was won with a great strike in each
half, the first from Megan Ingram and the second from Liz
McAleenan after some fantastic passing before each goal. A well
deserved player of the match went to Rhianne Murray.
Halas Hawks East 3 Kewford

The U10s East
wrapped up the under 10s league title with this commanding win
over one of their closest rivals. They dominated the game from
kick off, but it wasn't until late in the first half that Shannon
Stamps broke the deadlock. The pattern of play was replicated in
the second half and two goals by Bethan Bryan ensured their second
piece of silverware this season. Kewford did however grab a late
consolation to make the final score 3-1.
Halas Hawks 6 Withymoor

The U11s started the scoring early against Withymoor who played
well but were unable to penetrate the Halas defence marshaled by
Chloe Gorton. Goals came from Amy Blakemore (2), Jessica
O'Sullivan (2), Georgia Hanson and Sophie Blount.

Withymoor Colts 2
The U12s match against Withymoor was outstanding game between two
closely matched teams which resulted in a 2-2 draw. Two good
passing moves resulted in goals from Hannah Sharkey and Jess
Morton. The team all contributed to the result, with fine
performance from all the players.
The U16s
West needed to win their game against Kingswinford in order to
secure their third spot in the League. Playing some of their best
football, they took the lead in the first half through Pascal
Windross. The second half saw Shanice Mayers scoring with one of
her trademark shots from thirty yards and another from a curling
indirect free kick making the final score 3-0

Halas Hawks East 7
The U16s East
continued their pursuit of the league title with an emphatic 7-0
victory over a hard working Pensnett team. Kirsty Houston, opened
the scoring midway through the first half and Halas continued to
create chances throughout the rest of the match, with Olivia
Emerson, Jenny Watkins and Rebekah Trevis-Smith adding to the goal
tally. Lydia Bradley completed her hat trick with an excellent
free kick, towards the end of the match. The defence worked well
together, ensuring no goals were conceded.

The U10s West again failed to take the few chances they created
and were made to
pay by a very good Bearwood side losing 4-1. Halas’ goal was
scored by Joe Price and
man of the match went to Nathan Postin
Halas Dynamos 6
Lightwoods Lions 2
The U10s Dynamos
really turned on the style against Lightwoods with a performance
that earned them a thoroughly deserved 6-2 win. The goals were
scored by Jordan Boffey (2), Jake Saxton, Reece Colley, Lewis
Sidebottom and man of the match Josh Wheeler.
Hasbury Rangers 1
Halas Hawks 6
The U15s had a
comfortable 6-1 away win at Hasbury Rangers. Goals came from Amin
Ali (2), Edward Leeson, Mahrin Kafaz, Adam Reece and Josh Spencer
to secure their twentieth win of the season. With only two games
remaining, Halas now only require one win to secure promotion.
