Halas U7s East V Legion Lions
This was a hard game for Halas against a good Legion Lions side.
Charlie Greening got a hat trick with Taylor Nolan adding the

display.

Gornal South 0 Halas Hawks East 10
Halas took control of this U10's League Cup game against Gornal,
scoring five goals without reply before half-time, through a
Francesca Hancox hat-trick and one each from Amy Plimmer and
Shannon Stamps. Gornal kept battling but further goals from
Francesca, Amy, Shannon, Louise Tromans and Esme Moran saw East
home.
Halas Hawks 2 Kewford South 4
The U11s fought valiantly against Kewford South, opening the
scoring with an early goal from Georgia Hanson. In the 13th minute
Kewford managed to level the score and then pulled ahead early in
the second half. Halas equalised again through Hanson, but Kewford
were able to put another two away before the final whistle.
Halas Hawks 1 Wordsley 1
A very closely contested game between the U13s and Wordsley saw
no goals in the first half. Wordsley opened the scoring just after
the restart and they should have been two up when awarded a
penalty only for player of the match Kate Duffy to make a
fantastic save. From then on there was a lot of Halas pressure and
they managed to get a well deserved equalizer in the last few
seconds of the game through Rhianne Murray.

League
Halas Dynamos 1 West Hagley East 0
Despite not being at their best, the U10s Dynamos came through a
tight game against West Hagley East courtesy of a Reece Colley
goal. Man of the match award went to Thomas Widnall.
Trysull Tigers 0 Halas Hawks East 0
A terrrific encounter between the U9s East and Trysull saw a
goaless draw with good end to end stuff.
Warstones North 1 Halas Hawks East 3
The second match of the weekend for the U9s East saw Halas gain
the upper hand with chance after chance, eventually winning 3-1
with goals coming from, Jake Gilson (2) and Jack Layton. Man of
the match went to goalkeeper Tom Bolton.
Wordsley Wasps 1 Halas Hawks West 0
The U10s West traveled to Wordsley and lost a tight, well fought
game by the only goal of the match. Once again the Hawks' effort
and commitment was very good, but they lacked that killer touch in
front of goal. Man of the match went to Ellis Meredith.
Halas Hawks 2 Netherton 1
The U11s entertained Netherton and were two up at half time
through Jack Guest and Michael Eaton, who scored his first goal
for the club. Netherton came back strongly in the second half and
pulled one back, but Halas held on to take all three points.
Halas East 2 Withymoor West 2
A lacklustre first half left the U12s trailing 2-0 to Withymoor
West at half time. After the interval, Halas came more into the
game and it wasn't long before the Halas pressure paid-off, Josh
March latching onto a through ball from Jake Walley and scoring.
With only 2 minutes remaining Halas were awarded a penalty and
Josh Ezewele stepped forward to score from the spot to make the
final score 2-2, which was a fair result for a very hard fought
contest against a well organized Withymoor team.
Bilbrook 1 Halas Hawks 7
A fantastic performance by the U13s away to Bilbrook. Halas took
an early lead with a well taken goal by Joe Ward. A further three
goals from Jack Foley (2) and Luke Patton put Halas firmly in the
driving seat. The second half saw further goals coming from Daniel
Scarret, Luke Beatrup and man of the match Danny Hodges, to make
the final score 7-1.
Nunnery Wolves 1 Halas Hawks 0
Second placed Halas took on first placed Nunnery Wolves and,
despite having the majority of the posession, they couldn’t make
it count and went down to the only goal of the match.
