The U8s West controlled the game from the off against Brierley
Hill Bullets. Josh Parsons set up Josh Beasley after a great run
the length of the pitch before netting himself from the penalty
spot after the Bullets conceded a handball. Josh Parsons turned in
from close range on the stroke of half time. Halas controlled the
second half Josh Beasley scoring his second before Josh Parsons
scored his 3rd and 4th with breakaway goals. Everyone played
excellently with the man of the match award going to Matt Cole,
who was superb in midfield.

Brierley Hill Bullets 2 Halas Hawks 9
An outstanding performance from Halas Hawks U9s East at Brierley
Hill Bullets where, on a very heavy pitch, they ran out 9-2
winners with goals from Jake Gilson (4), Connor Preece (3), Jack
Layton and Tom Bolton. Man of the match went to Dan Deeley.
Halas Hawks 14 Brierley Hill Bullets 0

looked threatening every time they went forward and fully deserved
their 14-0 win with goals from Jake Saxton (4), Lewis Sidebottom
(3), Reece Colley (3), Connor Smith (2) and Josh Wheeler. Man of
the match went to Reece Colley on his debut.
Halas

In a hard fought game the U10s West took a 2-0 lead through Aaron
Leddington and Nathan Postin, but a strong second half by Penn saw
them take the points
with three unanswered goals. Man of the match went to keeper Jack
Evans for
some excellent saves.
Withymoor
5 Halas Hawks 0
The U11s were one down to Withymoor, who scored four more to make
the final score 5-0.
Gornal
Colts 2 Halas Hawks 0
The U12's East were very unlucky to lose 2-0 to Gornal Colts in
the League Cup. The lads were made to pay for several missed
chances but the scoreline flattered Gornal. Man of the match went
to Joe Kelly, who was a rock in defence.
Oldswinford 0 Halas Hawks 11
A
fine performance from the U13s with an outstanding 11-0 victory
against Oldswinford. The goals came from Jack Foley (5), Alex
Theodosi, Joe Ward, Luke Patton, goalkeeper James Andrews and two
from man of the match Rhys Edwards.
Halas
Hawks 6 Mostyn 0
The U14s were always in command against Mostyn with Guy Millward,
Sam Dickens and Chris Swancott bagging a brace each in a 6-2 win. |
