Brierley Hill Btts 0 Halas Hawks West 5
Halas Hawks U7s
West played a ‘friendly’ at Brierley Hill Bullets winning 5-0 with
goals from Farren Brown (2), George Silk (2) and Alfie Davies.
Hasbury 4 Halas Hawks East 9
The U7s East
met Hasbury who competed well in the opening stages of the game,
but Halas gradually took over, winning comfortably 9-4. Morgan
Rogers scored a double hat trick with Taylor Nolan weighing in
with another three.
Halas Hawk West 5 Kewford North 4
The U8S West took control from the start against Kewford North
with some very good attacking football and strong defending from
Callum Hudson. A hat-trick from Josh Beasley and a fourth from the
penalty spot from man of the match, Callum Hudson, gave Halas a
4-0 lead at half time. The second half saw Kewford come back
strongly with three quick goals. However, Halas held on with a
fifth goal from Josh Parsons finishing the match 5-4 winners.
Stourbridge Glassboys East 4 Halas West 0
The U9s West gave 100% effort against a strong Glassboys team, but
despite some excellent defending from William Deeley and man of
the match, James Churchill, they went down 4-0.
Sedgley White Lions 4 Halas Hawks West 1
The U10s West poor start to the season continued with a 4-1 away
defeat to Sedgley White Lions. A good start saw Halas take an
early lead through Matt Jones, but Sedgley fought back with three
goals to lead 3-1 at half time. A much improved second half saw
Halas dominate and create a lot of chances which they failed to
convert. Sedgley scored a breakaway fourth late on to seal
victory. Man of the match went to Jamie Theodosi.

Hawks 7 West Hagley 1
The U11s were always in control against
West Hagley earning
a 7-1 win with goals from Kane Yorke (3), Dan Hipkiss (2) and man
of the match, Adam Baker (2).
Gornal 1 Halas Hawks 4
The U12s East travelled to Gornal and came away with a well
deserved 4-1 win with goals from Jake Walley, Reece Marks, Dan
Willetts and Kane Campbell, who also earned the man of the match
award on his debut.
Halas Hawks 12 Worcester City ‘A’ 0
The U12s started the new season with a resounding 12-0 victory
over Worcester City with goals coming from Guy Millward (4), Sam
Dickens (3), Adam Hodges (2), Scott Pope (2) and Ryan Beech.
Halas 3 Thimblemill Rec 3
The U13s were two down against Thimblemill until the second half
when all the team stepped up a gear scoring three goals through
Luke Beautrup, Jack Foley and Luke Patton, before Thimblemill
equalised within the last 10 minutes of the game. Man of the match
went to Jack Foley and Halas remain top of the table.

Kewford

A superb performance by from the U10s West girls earned a 3-3 draw against
Kewford. Two great goals by Katie Hope made it 2 - 2 at half time
but, despite some splendid defending, Kewford took the lead in the
second half. A late equalizer was scored by Ellie Atkinson to make
it all square. Player of the match was Laura Cartwright, team
captain and goalkeeper who made some spectacular saves.
Kewford Eagles North 3 Halas Hawks 1
The U11s started strongly against Kewford North, having several
opportunities in the first few minutes of the match, but it was
Kewford who opened the scoring after 15 minutes. Halas were quick
to respond with an equaliser two minutes later from Amy Blakehouse,
but Kewford dominated the second half scoring two more.
Kingswinford 2 Halas Hawks 10
A closely fought match was expected between Halas U16s East and
Kingswinford, the teams who filled the top two positions in the
league last year. This proved to be the case in the first twenty
minutes, before Lydia Bradley and full back Gaby Walley, with a
long range effort, gave Halas a two goal lead. Kingswinford pulled
a goal back before Olivia Emerson restored the two goal advantage,
just before half time. Halas continued to press in the second
half, scoring seven goals. Captain, Kirsty Houston scored a hat
trick and new signing Rebekah Trevis-Smith hit two before Lydia
Bradley secured her second goal. Gaby Walley scored her second
long range effort of the game with minutes to go.
Halas Hawks 4 Kewford 0
The U16s West had a tough start to the season against Kewford and
could have gone down to an early goal when Kewford struck the
post, but they gradually stamped their superiority on the game,
which they won comfortably 4-0. Two goals came from Jade Blount on
her debut with the others coming from Shanice Mayers and Katie
Wilkes. |
