Halas Hawks U7's East entertained Forest Falcons at home. Both teams played there part in a really good end to end game. Halas goals came from Nathan Read (2) and Morgan Rogers. Man of the match went to Nathan Read.

 

 

Girls League


Halas Hawks 4 Warstone 1 
Halas Hawks U12s gave away an early goal to but after half time Halas made a spirited comeback with Elisha Rose scoring both the equalizer and a second goal for Halas. Charis Maguire then cut in across the defence to score a third Halas goal. In the final stages of the match Elisha Rose raced through to score again for her hat trick, the final score being 4-1. There was some outstanding play by Jessica Morton, Abby Willingale and Summer Archer.
 
 Halas 6  Angels 1

 The U13 Girls continued their impressive run this season with a 6-1 win over Angels in this league cup game. A brace from Lauren Taylor and one from Liz McAleenan saw them go in three up at half time. Angels rallied after the break and scored but Halas stepped up a gear and a further goal from Liz and a brace for Rhianne Murray saw them clinch victory. Player of the match was defender Chloe Cameron.

 

Kewford Girls 2 Halas Hawks 5
The U16s East traveled to face a strong Kewford team, with ambitions of finishing in the top three themselves. Halas started strongly and took a two goal lead early on, through Catherine Barrett, with a long range effort, and Olivia Emerson. Kewford fought back and managed to draw level with two quick goals. The Halas girls didn't let their heads drop and managed to restore a one goal advantage just before half time, through Jenny Watkins. Halas made changes at half time and started the second half with a flurry of one touch football. Kewford continued to defend well, their keeper pulling off some excellent saves, but couldn't prevent Halas from going on to win 5 - 2 with Jenny Watkins notching her second and Rebekah Trevis-Smith scoring a superb goal after a mazy run.

 

 

Boys League

 

Warstones East 2 Halas Hawks West 4
The U10s West took an early lead through Nathan Postin, but Warstones replied with two goals before half time. The second half saw Halas score three unanswered goals from man of the match Joe Price and a brace from Cameron Milne to win 4-2.

 

Club Dudley 1 Halas Hawks 3

The U11s had to come from a one goal half time deficit to claim a 3-1 win against Club Dudley. Jack Guest got two with Michael Eaton weighing in with a third. Man of the match went to Connor Leak.

 

Silverdale 4 Halas Hawks 6

The U12s East marched into the quarter final of the South Staffs cup after coming from 4-0 down to beat Silverdale 6-4. After a sloppy first half the lads suddenly clicked and goals from Josh Ezewele, Josh March, Kane Cambell, Reece Marks and Dan Willetts (2) sealed the victory.

 

Halas Hawks 7 Nunnery Wolves 0

An in form U14s met top of the table Nunnery Wolves winning comfortably 7-0 with goals from Guy Millward (2), Alex Gregory, Ben Hughes, Jack Hudson, Adam Hodges and Sam Dickens.

 

Corinthians 0 Halas Hawks 5

Another fine display from the U15s saw them gain another three points with a 5-0 win against a much improved Corinthians side. This was the ninth straight win and keeps the team well on track for promotion. Goals came from debut player, Ben Hancox, with a brace, Amin Ali, Josh Spencer and Charlie Price. Man of the match went to Adam Reece for his dominance in mid-field.
