Halas Hawks 2 Duncan Edwards 2
The U9s West had a tough start to the season against Duncan
Edwards FC. After conceding the first goal, both teams had
opportunities to score, but it was Ben Jevons who scored the
equalizer for Halas. Duncan Edwards regained the lead before man
of the match Joe Wythes set up Shannon Stamps to make the final
score 2-2.
Halas Hawks 3 Trysull 5
The U10s West entertained Trysull West and following a slow start
Halas got into gear with some fine passing and deservedly went in
3-1 at the break with goals from Nathan Postin, Conner Green and
Matt Jones, who went on to receive man of the match. However a
tenacious fightback by Trysull saw them draw level with 10 mins to
go and finally put the game out of the reach of Halas, with two
further goals to make the final score 3-5 to Trysull.
Oldswinford 0 Halas Hawks 5
The U13s traveled to Oldswinford coming away with a comfortable
5-0 win with goals from Danny Hodges, Rhys Edwards, Steve Barret,
Jack Davis and Alex Theodosi. Man of the match went to Rhys
Edwards.
