Girls League

Halas Hawks East 1 Kewford North 1

In a match between two of the leagues unbeaten teams, the girls under 10's East team fought out an entertaining 1-1 draw with Kewford North. Amy Plimmer scored from a corner by Abigail Gennard. It was a genuinely excellent team performance, with Sophie Blount, Georgia Hanson, Ffion Jones and Mia Davies excelling throughout.

Halas Hawks 1 - 0 West Hagley 0
The U11 girls won a hard fought battle against West Hagley with Mollie Duroe scoring the only goal of the game. Every girl played their part in the win and Halas were unlucky not to have increased their lead later on after shots from Paige Dudley and Mollie Duroe went close.

Hillcrest 2 Halas Hawks 3
In a close fought game the U12s came out eventual winners with goals from Rhianne Murray , Liz McAleenan & Sophie Kinsey . Player of the match was goalkeeper , Kate Duffy who had a fantastic game.

Tipton 3 Halas Hawks 2
Struggling to field a full squad, the U14s went down 3-2 to Tipton. Lauren Pearson and Sophie Leak were on target and there were excellent performances from Sophie Round and Stephanie Wem.

Angels 0 Halas Hawks 6
The U16s made it five wins out of five to remain top of the league. Lydia Bradley opened the scoring with a long range effort. Kirsty Houston doubled the lead shortly before Sophie Shaw and Kym Bennett scored their first goals of the season. Catherine Barrett, with another long range effort, and Elizabeth Richards rounded off the scoring.



Boys league


Wordsley Wasps East 1 Halas Hawks 5
Joseph Wythes got a hat trick in the U8s West win at Wordsley. Other goals came from Shannon Stamps and Cameron Keenan. Stand in goalkeeper, James Churchill, had an excellent game, but man of the match went to Jonty Round.

Halas Hawks 2 Brandhall 2
The U8s East drew 2-2 with Brandhall Colts with goals from Dan Deeley and man of the match, Jake Gilson.

Black Country Rgrs 0 Halas Hawks 8
The U9 dynamos got through round 1 of the league cup with an 8-0 win against Black Country Rangers from Division 3. Hawks dominated the game playing some excellent passing football leading to goals from Lewis Sidebottom (3), Lewis Taylor (2), Alex Gardener, James Williams and Harry Vine. Player of the match went to Lewis Sidebottom.

Halas Hawks 6 Moor Green Colts 0
The U9 East won 6-0 even though they were not on the best of form. Goalscorers were man of the match, Cain Smith with a hat trick and one apiece for Ethan Shelly, Dan Cartwright and Harry Weston.

Glassboys 2 Halas Hawks 0
The U9s West traveled to Glassboys where a below par first half saw Glassboys take a 2-0 lead. The second half saw a much improved display but they just could not get back into the game due to being shot shy.
Man of the Match to Jamie Theodosi for his tireless effort.

Warley Vipers 2 Halas Hawks 10
The U10s had a local derby with Warley Vipers in the league cup, winning 10-2 with goals from Jack Guest (3), Dominic Hipkiss (2), Alex Baker (2), man of the match, Deon Patel (2) and Adam Baker.

Beechdale 1 Halas Hawks East 11
The U11s met Beechdale Juniors in the South Staffs cup running out comfortable 11-1 winners. Josh March scored five, Alex Smith scored a hat trick, Josh Ezewele added 2 more before Louis Ezewele finished the scoring off with a bullet header from a corner.

Halas Hawks 5 Kinver Colts 0
The U12s went through in the South Staffs with this 5-0 win with goals from Luke Patton (2), Joe ward, Jack Hipkiss and man of the match, Danny Hodges.

Halas Hawks 11 Hasbury 0
The U16s entertained Hasbury and were never in trouble in an 11-0 win. Goals came from Craig Law (4) and one apiece for danny Emerey, Matthew Jackson, Greg Evans, Josh Haskey, Jamie Goule, Dean Summerfield and Ben Harvey.
