Halas under 8s East were involved in cup action against Redditch Town in the
Central Warwickshire League. After a slow start during which goalkeeper James
Meek kept them in the game, Halas took over and went through to the next round
with an 8-0 win. Ethan Shelley netted five with the others coming from Cain
Smith, Ben Rhodes and man of the match, Jordan Staten.


Withymoor East 2 Halas Hawks 4
The U11s East came up against a strong Withymoor Side going down 4-2. Dan
Willetts and Reece Marks were on target with Joe Kelly getting man of the
match.
