Girls League

Halas Hawks West 0 Withymoor 3

Despite a much improved team performance, the U10's West team went down 3-0 to a strong Withymoor team. Ciara Robinson-Morris had an excellent debut in goal whilst Megan Emerson, despite taking some hard but fair knocks, brought some skill and energy to a dogged defensive play.

Halas Hawks East 3 Tipton 1
In probably their best all round team performance to date, the U10's East team defeated Tipton 3-1, with the exceptional Amy Plimmer scoring twice and Cerys Atchison the other. Yet again, captain Sophie Blount marshalled her defence well whilst Esme Moran, Mia Davies and Louise Tromans ran themselves into the ground ensuring that the team maintained their unbeaten start to the campaign.

In an entertaining game Halas U11s showed plenty of fight even though they eventually lost. Halas were 3-0 down at half time after a good first half performance from Gornal. In the second half goals from Mollie Duroe and Charis Maguire almost pulled off a well deserved point, but the girls just ran out of time after some frantic pressure late in the game.
