Halas Hawks West 3 Warstone East 2
The U9s West looked the weaker side as the freezing conditions saw them
go in at half time a goal down. Following the half time team talk the
Hawks got back into the game after a long period of pressure with an
equalising goal from Jamie Theodosi. Warstones immediately went ahead
again from the kick off, but the Hawks fought back with a fantastic team
performance taking two further goals by man of the match Nathan Postin
to leave the Hawks worthy winners.
Halas Hawks East 3 Hampton Sports 1
The U9s East beat Hampton Sports 3-1 with goals coming from Cain Smith
(2) and man of match Jordan Staten.
Brierley Hill 3 Halas Hawks 2
The U10s could have made this game safe by half time if chances had been
taken but a good start to the second half by bullets saw them go 3 goals
up. Hawks fought back and managed to score two through Dominic Hipkiss
and Adam Baker but the final score remained 3-2. Man of the match went
to Daniel Jennings.
Kidder Lions 2 Halas Hawks East 2
The U11s East put on a fantastic performance to secure a 2-2 draw with
league leaders Kidderminster Lions. Hawks went one up after Josh March
followed in a Charlie Dudley shot but Kidderminster equalised and then
went 2-1 up after half time. However, in awful conditions the lads
battled hard and passed the ball around brilliantly and were literally
camped in their opponents half. After hitting the post and having a shot
cleared off the line Hawks equalised from a confidently struck Josh
Ezewele penalty after Josh March was brought down. Hawks had more
chances but were unable to grab a winner. For his dominant midfield
performance and equalising goal Josh Ezewele was awarded man of the
match.
Halas Hawks 5 Trysull 4
In a close fought game, Guy Millward bagged a hat trick and Chris
Swancott a brace to give the U13s a narrow win. Ben Hughes earned man of
the match.

Halas East 0 Kewford 6
For the second week running, The U10s East came up against the champions
elect, Kewford South, who had won their previous 7 games.
A brave, dogged defensive effort saw East go in at half time only 1-0
down with Sophie Blount and Esme Moran again to the fore.
Unfortunately for East, Kewford came out fired up at the start of the
second half, scoring two further goals in the first 5 minutes. To their
credit however, the Halas girls never gave up but were unable to prevent
a further two goals from Kewford.
Pensnett 0 Halas Hawks 7
For the second week running the U14s girls met Pensnett but this time
were back to full strength which resulted in a comfortable 7-0 win, thus
maintaining their fight for league honours. On the scoresheet was
Shanice Mayers (2), Katie Wilkes (2), Sophie Leak, Lauren Pearson and
Bethany Hall.
Halas Hawks 2 Kewford 1
Long term injuries once again left Halas U16s with a depleted squad for
the Merit Shield clash against Kewford Eagles. Despite this, Halas took
an early lead through Lydia Bradley, after her long range shot crept
into the bottom left hand corner. Kewford came out battling in the
second half and drew level from a set piece. Halas refused to let their
heads drop and Lydia Bradley scored the winner with another long range
effort.
