Hampton Sports 0 Halas Hawks 2
The U9s East played their last game of the season against Hampton Sports
and a 2-0 win gave them an incredible unbeaten run in a strong Central
Warwickshire League. Goals came from Cain Smith and Owen Taylor, with
man of the match going to Ben Rhodes. They now hope to extend their run
when they play in the cup final this weekend.
Brierley Hill Bullets 0 Halas Hawks 9
The U9s West extended their unbeaten run to eight games with a
convincing 9 - 0 win over Brierley Hill Bullets, with goals from Aaron
Leddington (3), Jamie Theodosi (3), Matt Jones, Cameron Milne and Nathan
Pointon.. Man of the match went to goalkeeper Jack Evans.
Gornal 1 Halas Hawks 1
The U11's ended their season with a 1-1 draw at Gornal Athletic. The
lads played well and probably deserved to win but on a big pitch and
with players missing, they ran out of steam in the final minutes and
conceded a late equaliser. Goal scorer was Josh March who has finished
the campaign with an excellent 32 goals.
Halas Hawks 6 Warstones 2
The U13s put on an excellent all round performance against Warstones and
thoroughly deserved their 6-2 win, Guy Millward getting his hat trick,
with the others coming from Sam Dickens (2) and Jack Hudson.
Girls League
Halas Hawks West 0 Gornal 7
The U10s West saw an end to the season with a defeat at the hands of a
strong Gornal side, despite the efforts of Goalkeeper Ciara
Robinson-Morris. Halas had several shots on goal but were unable to
score.
Hillcrest 0 Halas Hawks 1
In probably their toughest match of the season so far the U12s managed
to grind out a win thanks to a goal from Sophie Kinsey . Man of the
match was stand in keeper Olivia Woolams, who made a string of fantastic
saves to keep Halas ahead.
Hillcrest1 Halas Hawks 1
Despite having much of the possession, the U14s could not find the
finishing touch in their final game of the season against Hillcrest. The
final score was 1-1 with the goal coming from Lauren Pearson and
goalkeeper, Sophie Round, making some excellent saves to deny Hillcrest.
