Girls league
Kewford North 0 Halas Hawks East 1
Halas Hawks U10s girls started slowly in this closely fought League Cup
Semi-Final, with Kewford being on top for the first ten minutes,
although failing to seriously test Georgia Hanson in goal, thanks
largely to the efforts of Mia Davies. From that point on however, Halas
slowly gained control and created a number of chances which they failed
to take. The second half saw a very even contest, although it was Halas
who were creating the clearer chances, but with no success. It was only
as extra-time loomed, that Abigail Gennard robbed her defender and set
up Louise Edgerton to score the deciding goal.
Halas Hawks 8 Angels 3
In a thrilling U12s girls semi final against Angels, Halas took a two
goal lead thanks to Liz Mcaleenan but Angels came back and made it two
all before half time and took the lead just after. Halas really had to
dig deep and were rewarded in the last twenty minutes with more goals
from Liz Mcaleenan (3), Rhianne Murray (2) and Megan Ingram scoring to
book a place in the League Cup Final . Player of the match was Liz
McAleenan but it was a real team effort that got them through.
Halas Hawks 5 Kewford 2
Impressive team work by the U15s secured a third cup final place for
Halas, this time with a 5-2 win over Kewford. A hat trick from team
captain, Kirsty Houston, and one each for Olivia Emerson and Liz
Richards ensured a comfortable win.
Boys League

Brandhall 3 Halas Hawks 6
The U13s had a comfortable 6-3 win at Brandhall with Sam Dickens and Guy
Millward getting a brace each with the others coming from Thomas Stevens
and Carrick Russell. Man of the match went to Adam Hodges.
Halas Hawks 8 Perrywoods 0
The U16s were inspired by a man of the match performance by Steve Price
to score eight against Brandhall without reply. Goals came from Josh
Haskey (3), Craig Law (2), Danny Summerfield, Jay Gould and Ben Harvey.
