Boys league

Solihull 0 Halas Hawks 3
The U9s East had a tough game against Solihull Saints but came out 3-0 winners with Dan Cartwright, Cain smith and Jordan Staten netting. Man of the match went to James Meek for some safe handling.

Halas hawks 7 Kingswinford 0
The U9s Dynamos had a comfortable 7-0 win over Kingswinford who rarely threatened the Halas goal. Goals came from Constance Scofield (2), Thomas Chatwin (2), Alex Gardener, Lewis Sidebottom and Lewis Taylor. Player of the match went to Thomas WIDNALL

Pen Colts North 0 Halas Hawks West 3
The first game after the New Year break saw a slow start against Penn Colts for the U9s West. However two well-taken goals from Jamie Theodosi saw Halas go in at half time with a two goal lead. Penn Colts fought back in the second half with some good football but couldn't find the net. The win was finally sealed with a stunning free kick
from Matt Jones

Halas Hawks 1 Forest Falcons 0
The U10s entertained Forest Falcons winning with the only goal of the game scored by James Harper on his debut. Chances fell to both teams but a solid defensive performance led by man of the match, Daniel Jennings, ensured Halas took all three points.

Warley Borough 1 Halas Hawks 2
The U11s east beat Warley Borough 2-1 with goals from a stunning free kick from Jon Rizzo and a cool finish from Josh March after a defence splitting ball from Reece Marks. Man of the Match went to Ben Wyatt for an energetic and enthusiastic display.

Duncan Edwards 2 Halas Hawks 2
The U12s met Duncan Edwards and both teams put on a fantastic game of football with neither team deserving to lose, so a 2-2 was a fitting result. Halas made the most of the early pressure leading 1-0 after nine minutes through Jack Davis, but Duncan Edwards drew level and then took a 2-1 half time lead. The second half saw some great work from man of the match, David Philips, who laid on a goal for Joe Ward to make it 2-2 .

Sedgley Scorpions 2 Halas 1
In a closely fought match, the U13s lost 2-1 to Sedgley Scorpions with Guy Millward hitting the net.


Girls league


Halas Hawks West 2 Tipton 2
The ever-improving U10s West were thrilled to score their first goals of the season when they held Tipton to a 2-2 draw. It was an excellent team performance with goals from Louise Edgerton and Lauren Smith.

Halas Hawks East 2 Gornal Girls 0
Abigail Gennard scored both Halas U10s goals in this close fought encounter against Gornal. Both sides had chances throughout the game but Halas were able to convert two chances towards the end of the second half.

Halas 4 Netherton 1
Halas U11s had a convincing 4-1 victory agsainst Netherton. Hannah Sharkey scored a fantastic first goal after a run from inside her own half culminated with a ferocious shot that the Netherton 'keeper had no chance with. Not to be outdone, Beth Sharkey followed up with a well-struck shot following a corner to make it 2-0. Netherton pulled one back on the stroke of half time when a cross was deflected by Amy Blakemore for a cruel own goal, but Amy made up for it with two fine goals to make the game safe.

Withymoor 4 Halas 0
The U12s lost 4-0 to Withymoor but despite the score the girls had a very good game and challenged for everything. They had their chances too but unfortunately were unable to put them away. Player of the match was Rebecca Ingram.

Kewford 3 Halas Hawks 2
Lack of match practice took its toll on the U14s when they went down 3-2 to Kewford. Goals came from Katie Wilkes and Stephanie Wem and there was a brave performance from goalkeeper, Sophie Round.

Halas Hawks 5 Kingswinford Girls 1
The U16s took the lead early in the first half through Kirsty Houston, despite being under pressure in the opening 20 minutes, but Kingswinford grabbed a deserved equaliser just prior to half time. The second half was a little more even in terms of possession but Halas took their chances well through Lydia Bradley, Gaby Walley, Sophie Shaw and Catherine Barrett.
