Boys League

Glassboys West 2 Halas Hawks 2
Halas Hawks U8s met top of the table Stourbridge Glassboys and went one up early in the game through Joe Wythes. They doubled their lead with a well taken goal from Cameron Keenan and looked like ending the Glassboys unbeaten run, but their goalkeeper pulled off some excellent saves to keep them in the game and they then scored two second half goals to take a share of the points.

Halas Dynamos 1 Forest Falcons 2
The U9s Dynamos had a friendly against higher league opposition in Forest Falcons and although losing 2-1, they gave a good account of themselves. They were good value for a 0-0 half time score but Falcons broke the deadlock only to see Hawks equalize from the kick off with a goal from Alex Gardener. However, with only minutes to go an unstoppable wind assisted shot curled up into the right hand corner of the Halas goal to give Falcons victory. Anthony Cowdell was awarded man of the match for making some fantastic saves.

Halas Hawks 1 Hasbury 3
The U10s went out of the cup after losing 3-1 to Hasbury despite putting on a good show. Dominic Hipkiss scored their goal with man of the match going to goalkeeper Thomas Haywood.

Glassboys 3 Halas Hawks 1
The U13s also crashed out of the cup by the same 3-1 scoreline, with Jack Hudson getting the goal and Scott Pope man of the match.

Halas Hawks 7 St. Johns 2
The U16s were 2-1 down at half time but came out for the second half a different team and were inspired by man of the match, Mark Totten, to go on to win 7-2. Greg Evans got his hat trick with the others coming from Josh Haskey (2), Craig Law and Daniel Summerfield.
