Halas Hawks 5 Withymoor 1
Halas U16s girls secured the Stourbridge League title, for the second
time in three years, with an emphatic 5 - 1 victory over Withymoor
Colts. Despite falling behind to an early Withymoor goal, the Halas
girls continued to pile on the pressure and went into the half time
break 2 - 1 up through Sophie Shaw and Katie Monk. Halas captain, Kirsty
Houston, extended the lead midway through the second half before Katie
Monk added two further goals, completing her hat trick with a goal
straight from a corner.
Kewford 3 Halas Hawks 0
After a gritty first half performance the U10s West finally went down
3-0. Halas came close a couple of times with shots from Jessica
O’Sullivan and Megan Emerson however unfortunately it was not to be.
Megan Hipkiss made a promising debut.
Wordsley 0 Halas Hawks 7
Another great team performance from the U12s against Wordsley saw the
ball passed around accurately and some great runs saw Rhianne Murray (2)
, Liz Mcaleenan (2) , Katie Hickman (2) & player of the match Megan
Ingram all hitting the net whilst at the other end Kate Duffy kept a
very pleasing clean sheet .
Halas Hawks 1 Tipton 0
Top goalscorer, Bethany Hall, scored her 17th goal of the season when
the U14s beat Tipton 1-0.
Boys league
Warstone Wanderers 1 Halas Hawks 3
The U8s West put on a solid performance against Warstones with goals
from Joe Wythes, Cameron Keenan and Matthew Evans giving hem a 3-1 win.
Man of the match went to goalkeeper, James Churchill.
Withymoor 0 Halas Hawks 1
The U9s Dynamos looked sluggish in heir game against Withymoor Colts but
managed to grind out a 1-0 win after a goal from Lewis Sidebottom.
Player of the match went to defender Thomas Widnall
Warstones 1 Halas Hawks 2
The U10s travelled to Warstones coming away with a comfortable 2-1 win
with goals from James Harper and man of the match, Dominic Hipkiss.
Halesowen Stags 2 Halas
Hawks 3
The final match of the U14s season finished with a hard fought 3-2 win
for Halas at local rivals, Halesowen Stags. Two goals from Joshua
Spencer and one from man of the match Jamie Hewitt gave Halas the points
