Halas Hawks under 7s East continued their excellent start to the season with a 6-2 win over Kingswinford AFC. Goals came from Michael Ly (2), Harry Wakeman, Dan Kelly, Nick Clayton-Phillips and Jack Layton, with a man of the match performance from Mark Slater.

After going one up against Hasbury, the under 7s West couldn’t sustain the pressure and lost 4-2. Both goals came from Shannon Stamps with Joseph Wythes getting man of the match.

The under 9s also played Hasbury and were inspired to a 3-0 win by a man of the match performance from Daniel Jennings, who bagged one of the goals, with the others coming from Jack Guest and Harry Allen.

Kingswinford Boys twice took the lead against the under 10s East, but goals from Jon Rizzo and man of the match, Ryan Davies, earned them a thoroughly deserved point.

It was an end to end game for the under 10s North against Brierley Hill Bullets South, but a double for Harry Wootton and Philip Mylona and one long range goal from Joe Vaughan gave them a 5-2 win. Man of the match went to Luke Harborne.

The under 13s and under 15s found it hard work against Worcester Colts and Enville, both losing 3-1 and 4-0 respectively.

In the girls league, the under 10s recovered from last weeks setback to beat Gornal 4-1 with goals from Mollie Duroe (2), Amy Blakemore and Caris Maguire.

The under 12s East lost by the only goal of the game against Hillcrest, whilst the under 12s West lost 7-1 to Dudley Utd.

The under 14s West suffered their first defeat of the season, going down 6-2 to top of the table, Hillcrest. Lil Crawshaw and Rebekah Trevis-Smith were on target and there were excellent performances from Stephanie Wem and Sophie Round.
