We are always looking for volunteers to help with our growth and development. 

You may have a child playing for Halas. You may be an ex player. You may have no current connection with the club whatsoever. 

It doesn't matter, we'd love to hear from you.

18th February 2007

Halas Hawks under 7s East continued their undefeated record this season with a
comfortable 10-2 win over Withymoor Colts South. The goals came thick and fast
from Nick Clayton-Phillips (5), Matthew Hancox (2), Michael Ly, Dan Kelly and
a first goal of the season from Dan Deeley. Man of the match went to Harry
Wakeman for another impressive defensive display.


The under 7s West overcame Bearmore 9-0 with goals from Cameron Keenan (4),
George Hands (2), Shannon Stamps, James Churchill and Matthew Evans with Jonty
Round getting man of the match.


The under 8s West traveled to Penn Colts where an outstanding all round team
performance gave them a 4-0 win with goals from Matt Jones (2) Cameron Milne
and Ellis Meredith. Man of the match went to goalkeeper Jack Evans.
The under 9s were always in for a tough game against top of the table Phoenix
Youth but after missing several chances they went down narrowly 2-1. Dominic
Hipkiss got the goal and Deon Patel man of the match.


The under 10s East lost by the same scoreline to Priory Pumas. They found
themselves 2-0 down early in the game but a second half improvement saw them
pull one back through Jon Rizzo. Reiss Aston was awarded man of the match.


The under 10s Dynamos were unable to convert a variety of chances against
Warley Borough the final result being 0-0. Dynamos man of the match was
Charlie Dudley.


The under 12s lost 4-1 to Gornal Atletic with Ryan Beech hitting the target
and Sam Kirk getting man of the match.


The under 13s met Pensnett Panthers South in the Merit Shield Merit Shield and
despite a valiant effort, hitting the woodwork no less than four times, Halas
went down 4-0. Man of the match went to Drew Jones.


In the girls league the under 10s played out a goalless game against
Withymoor, whilst the under 14s East had a hard fought game against Angels
which the Halas girls won 2-1 with goals from Elizabeth Richards and Kirsty
Houston.


The under 14s West drew 2-2 with Withymoor West with Shanice Mayer and Stacey
Jones hitting the net.
