Halas Hawks under 7s East were on top form against a plucky Netherton Town
side who, although losing 6-1, never gave up fighting. Goals came from Nick
Clayton-Phillips (4), Jake Gilson and Jack Layton. Man of the match went to
Harry Wakeman for a fantastic defensive display. Special mention goes to new
signing Dan Deeley for a solid performance on his debut.

The under 7s West travelled to Wordsley Wasps where two goals from Joseph
Wythes and one from Shannon Stamps gave them a 3-1 win. Man of the match went
to George Hands.

The under 8s Dynamos met unbeaten Rio Saints in a must win game but despite a
man of the match performance from Alex Gardener, they lost 2-0.

The under 9s are now 11 games unbeaten after a 1-1- draw with Dudley Juniors.
Dominic Hipkiss got the goals and Jack Guest man of the match.

The under 10s North were involved in a close game against Oldswinford but
edged it 1-0 with a goal from Calum Pearsom. Man of the match went to Harry
Wootton.

The under 11s continued their good run of form with a 3-1 win over Withymoor
Colts to make it 10 points from the last 4 games. A well earned victory
between 2 evenly matched sides, Halas went 2-0 up and withymoor pulled one
back all in the first 10 minutes. Goals from Danny Hodges, Luke Patton, and a
superb free kick from man of the match Daniel Scarrett secured the win.
In the girls league, a hat trick from Molly Duroe gave the under 10s a 3-1 win
over Kewford.

The under 12s East lost 6-3 to Angels with goals from Danielle Hughes, Ellie
Murphy and Charlotte Perks whilst the under 12s West were on the wrong end of
a 5-0 score line against Withymoor.

The under 14s East had a comfortable 7-2 win over Kewford South with a hat
trick from Kirsty Houston, two from Lydia Bradley and one each for Gaby Walley
and Elizabeth Richards.

The under 14s West beat Tipton 5-2 with goals from Katie Wilkes (2), Lily
Crawshaw, Sophie Leak and a thunderbolt from Shanice Mayers.
