Halas Hawks 1 v Withymoor 3
Despite giving it their best effort the girls could not overcome a Withymoor
side who finished the season undefeated although it took a tremendous
save onto the crossbar from the Withymoor keeper to deny Liz McAleenan
from a free kick in the first half and they continued making chances
for themselves all the way through the match . Sophie Kinsey
scored the Halas goal and player of the match was Chloe Camron .
Well done girls for a fantastic season .
Halas Hawks 4 v Wordsley 0
In a game that saw Halas clinch runners up in the league with a game
still to go it was a well deserved first goal of the season from
Olivia Woollams that opened the scoring with a fantastic individual effort .
This was added to by Sohpie Kinsey (2) and Rhianne Murray
in another brilliant team effort . Outstanding performances from
Rhianne Murray & Katie Hickman saw both awarded player of the match.
Hillcrest 0 v Halas Hawks 1
In probably their toughest match of the season so far the girls
managed to grind out a win thanks to a goal from Sophie Kinsey .
Player of the match was stand in keeper Olivia Woollams
who made a string of fantastic saves to keep Halas ahead .
Wordsley 0 v Halas Hawks 7
Another great team performance saw the ball passed around
fantastically with no one being greedy and that along with
some great runs saw Rhianne Murray (2) , Liz Mcaleenan (2)
, Katie Hickman (2) & player of the match Megan Ingram
all hitting the net whilst at the other end
Kate Duffy kept a very pleasing clean sheet .
In a very open game with some fantastic football played by
both teams in a good atmosphere it was a great day for all.
The girls managed to shave it with goals from Megan Ingram
and first of the season from player of the match Rebecca Ingram
Halas Hawks 1 v Withymoor 4
In a very entertaining match against a Withymoor side that has
not lost this season the girls put in a tremendous effort and
although the score does not reflect it , they pushed their
opponents all the way to the final whistle .
Rhianne Murray scored the Halas goal .
No player of the match because they were all fantastic .
Me & Phil were proud to be your Managers .
In a thrilling match that was played 4-a-side due to some of the
Angels team unable to play , Halas took a two goal lead
thanks to Liz McAleenan but Angels came back and made
it two all before half time and took the lead just after .
Halas really had to dig deep and were rewarded in the
last twenty minutes with more goals from Liz McAleenan (3)
, Rhianne Murray (2) & Megan Ingram scoring to book
a place in the League Cup Final . Player of the match was Liz
McAleenan but it was a real team effort that got them through .
Halas Hawks 1 v Withymoor 4
Despite going three goals down in the first 15
mins against an excellent Withymoor side the
girls battled back in a thrilling football game . Our goal
came just after half time from joint player of the match
Rhianne Murray after a long period of pressure in the
opponents half . But we were unable to add to our
score and had the forth scored against us in the
closing minutes whilst chasing the game.
The other joint player of the match
was Chloe Cameron. Good effort Girls !.
Merit Shield Quarter Final
Although the girls had most of the chances it ended up a
very tight game with the only goal of the game scored
by Liz McAleenan in a hard fought victory .
Player of the match was Olivia Woolams.
The girls had more of the play and chances on goal in a very
physical game and it resulted in Rhianne Murray (2),Sophie
Kinsey and a absolutely fabulous individual goal from player
of the match Katie Hickman all getting on the score sheet.
Another great team effort.
In the performance of the season so far against a
very good Angels side , the girls were first to every 50/50 ball ,
the passing was superb and they battled to win the ball
back when not in possession . The goals came from Liz
McAleenan (2) , Megan Ingram (2) , Rhianne Murray and Player
of the match Sophie Kinsey (2) in a fantastic game of football .
Halas Hawks 13 v Tipton 1
The girls hit the ground running from the first whistle
with an early goal and after that did not look back .
A great display of individual skill and teamwork with
wave after wave of attack culminated in Liz McAleenan (7)
Rhianne Murray and Player of the match Megan Ingram (5)
all getting on the score sheet .
A fantastic effort from the whole team . Well Done Girls !.
Withymoor 4 v Halas Hawks 0
Despite the score the girls had a very good game and
challenged for everything , they had their chances
too but unfortunately were unable to put them away .
Player of the match was Rebecca Ingram .
Halas Hawks 4 v Hillcrest 3
In a thrilling end to end game Halas came out triumphant
with goals from Sophie Kinsey , Rhianne Murray & two
from player of the match Liz McAleenan.
Special mention for stand in keeper Olivia Woolams
who had a fantastic game .
In a game that saw Halas in the opponents half
for long periods , the deadlock was finally
broken by Liz McAleenan who scored both goals .
Tipton scored a conciliation goal in the second half .
Player of the match was Rhianne Murray
who had an excellent game.

In a very entertaining game against a strong Withymoor
side Halas took the lead in the first half
through Liz McAleenan but the opponents
came back with three in the second half .

With another dominating display the girls
won with goals from Megan Ingram (2)
the second of which was a fantastic header ,
Katie Hickman & Liz McAleenan whilst keeping
Player of the match was Cara Tromans .
In a very physical game the girls came out eventual
winners with goals from Liz McAleenan (2) ,
Rhianne Murray & Megan Ingram whilst keeping a very
pleasing clean sheet . Player of the match was
Hillcrest 2 v Halas Hawks 3
In a close fought game the U12s
came out eventual winners with goals from Rhianne Murray , Liz
McAleenan & Sophie Kinsey . Player of the match was ,
Kate Duffy who had a fantastic game.

U12 Girls were two down against Angels but a real battling display saw
them pull one back before half time, scored by Sophie Kinsey, and a
second from player of the match, Katie Hickman, leveling the scores.
However, Angels hit the winner in the last few minutes

Hawks 1 v Gornal 2 League
Fixture The
U12 girls put on a spirited display against Gornal and the scores were
level at 1-1 until the last minute when Gornal scored the winner.
Sophie Kinsey scored the Halas goal with Olivia Woollams getting player
of the match. |
